Right now, they have underperformed for sure, but its too early to call them a bust. If they are still struggling in June then it could be time to write them off. I think this slow start might cost the manager his job, but to call them a bust in April is way premature. Lots of teams start slow and come on later in the year. The Oakland A's seem to start slow every year and still win 90-95 games and win the AL West. The Phils could do the same thing.

coming from a phils phan..as of right now yes they are the biggest bust, but they always start their years off like this. i think theyll end with a .500 record 81-81, and once again miss the playoffs. They play in a hitters ballpark and cant hit. Its kind of bad when your leadoff hitter is leading the team in HRs and RBIs and your 3 and 4 hitters arent even batting .300. If they dont get their act together in may they will officially be the biggest bust of 2007, because they always start out crappy and end good.

No No No the Phils are the best team in the NL East. Last year they started the season 0-14 and were only three games out of the playoffs. So far the record is 3-9. Its not great but its not 0-14. This year there record will end up being 91-71. They will win the East but have to play the Astros.

its a tie between them and the cubbies. the phills actually started off last year 6-9 but you were close. they are a notoriously slow starting team (at least the past few years) then have a nice midseason run before they break the hearts of us fans in the final week of the season.
