Well, the guy who said it's not a good rotation needs to take off his Tigers' blinders. I'm not a Sox fan, but even I can admit that they've got a starting rotation that many teams would gladly trade for their own.Of their current group, I'd go with Buehrle. I know Garland has a lower ERA to this point, but Buehrle has proven himself one of the most consistent and reliable starters in the AL over the past six seasons. After an off year in 2006, I think he's out to prove that it was a fluke. He's only 28, which means he should just be getting into his prime, and I'm sure he'll have a few more 15-20 win seasons for the Sox.
My fav wil have to be Mark Buerhlie he is nasty son he's definitely the best in the white sox.

first of all, its a crappy rotation, ur crazy for saying its any good compared to San Fransisco or Detriot...Hell, Detroits rotation without Rogers AND Bonderman is still better than that of the White Sox...but its obvious who the best pitcher in the rotation is...the guy that threw the no-hitter...Mark Buerhle...Duh, that a nobrainer when compared to pitchers like vasquez and contrerezMark Buerhle

Their rotation is honestly average at best. They have some good pitchers but nothing that compares with what they had in '05. Buehrle was the best up unitl the second half of last year, but now I would probably give it to Jon Garland. Its a toss up between the two of them, but Garland throws harder which can help make up for an off day location wise. The no-hitter was nice but doesn't make up for how lousy he's been since the all-star break last year. Other than those two pitchers the rest of the rotation is either too young (Danks) or too old (Contreras). I guess that leaves Vazquez.but come on he's been overated his whole career. It's a better rotation than some, but probably in the middle third of baseball at this point.This year, looks like Buehrle, he does have a no-hitter already this year!

Its a solid rotation, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The team hasn't been hitting at all, and that's been their problem so far this season. The abilities of all 5 starters are roughly equal. Just compare their stats from the last three seasons; I'm not sure I could pick a clear cut favorite, but I'd like to see how Danks fares over the course of an entire season. Once this team starts hitting like they can, they will be a formidable team to reckon with. I think they'll finish 2nd in the Central behind the Tigers.What are the pitching matchups on___???
Jon Garland seems to step it up when needed more than any other pitcher on this staff. They are a very good starting 5 (or 6 if you look at young Nick yesterday). Garland has the most wins combined the last 2 seasons and no one talks about him!Who are MLB's best sinkerball pitchers?
