Will Javy Lopez play Major League Baseball this year?
Question:...and if so, for whom? He apparently signed with Colorado this year only to be released soon afterwards, so he's a free agent, but it seems like nobody wants him anymore, a far departure from his career year in 2003 with Atlanta.

Why does Nomar Garciaparra wear his red armband?
I am sure Javy will play this year. Experienced Catchers are hard to find especially one that can call a good game. Brad Ausmus can't hit worth a darn, but he is always around because of how he handles a pitching staff. I bet you will see Javy pop up by Mid August after a contender fails to make a splash at the trade deadline. There is always room on a roster for an experienced, playoff savvy backstop.Yeah maybe that career year had something to do with steroids of HGH. No he is not playing.
He's got nothing left in the tank. He could get picked up later on in the season if a team is plagued with injuries.
no he looked old i think he's about to retire. if he doesn't an injury to t regular cather might bring him back, but he had a great career why ruin it by coming back and being and old backup catcher.
