As of now, it is Solomon Torres, but if he has problems and is yanked, it will be between closer-in-waiting Matt Capps or veteran John Wasdin. Torres was the closer last year after Gonzalez was injured and was 12 for 13 in save chances. Matt Capps has extensive closing experience in the minors and is a good bet to eventually take the closer spot. Wasdin had a great Spring and surprized everyone by making the team to mentor Capps and be there if needed.
