Question:i know i know its only the first game but what about felix hernandez for the american league cy young. high 90's stuff and has all 4 pitches working. first game today against oakland 12 k's 1 walk 2 hits 0 runs.. and he says he hasnt found his stride yet?!?!?!?!? we'll see but im kinda thinkin cy young how bout you??

SANTANA!I know he won it last year, but he's traveling in the some of the great footsteps of Sandy Koufax and Randy Johnson. He's the best pitcher in the game right now, there's no pitcher better. The Twin's Ace has got it all. That's what I think!!
Felix Hernandez is nasty, but unfortunately, hes in the same league as Johan Santana. Hernandez is gonna have a monster year (baring injury), but Santana has been amazing and hes still only 28. This leads me to believe that hes only just gotten started 2 (granted his opening start was rocky, but hes more a second half pitcher then 1st). The main thing to watch in Hernandez is how well he holds up after the All-Star break. If he hangs in there, then maybe he might pull it off this year.
