If A-Rod keeps belting those homers, the NY Yankees will be in first place by the time the 2007 season gets to the All-Star break, with Toronto and the Boston Red Sox fighting it out for a wild card into the playoffs.

The NY Yankee bats will be very much needed considering the weakness of the Yankees pitching rotation.

The Yanks tread water while their ailing ptching staff gets healthy but when Wang, Pavano, Moose etc get better, they pull away. The offense scores 1,025 runs and their bull pen has a top 5 ERA in the AL.

Toronto improves but do not have the fire power to beat the Yanks. The do show tremendous promise as they fight for the wild card but lose it by a game or so to and ALC team (Twins, Sox, Detroit -- they are all good!)

Schilling goes down for a month and the league figures out Dice-K by the break and he is somewhat ineffective forcing the Sox to tail spin. Manny and Ortiz gets injured and the bats go south

Baltimore improves but still are a long way away from being a contender. They need to make all the right moves to really contend.

Tampa Bay just is a needlss franchise. They are basically a breeding ground for talent but their ownership lines their pockets with revenue sharingmoney and does not put in on the field.
