It is NOT Fernando he rolled his eyes up into his head which was weird, but he never jerked in and looked for a sign. It sounds to me either like Al "The Mad Hungarian" Hrabosky, or possibly Mark "The Bird" Fydrich who had a ton of idiosyncracies in his delivery, including having a little chat with the ball occasionally before important pitches!
