Best team of all-time of all time not to win the world series?
Question:I don't know but I guess it would be one of the Brooklyn Dodgers of the late 40's and 50's.

Is the ceiling in the metrodome in play?
1954 Indians (111 wins and lost 4 in a row to the Giants. (4-0)1956 Dodgers (Even better than the '55 World Championship team but they ran up against history in '56. Among that history was Don Larson's perfect game, 10/8/1956.
1960 Yankees (Yankees won 3 games by pounding Pirate pitching into the ground, but somehow the Pirate managed to win when it counted the most. It broke my heart but what a incredible series.)
1969 O's (The O's were celebrating before the series began. Wonder what they did with all the unopened champagne?)
1979 O's (Again the O's were a great team and up in the series 3-1 but crashed and burned as "We are family" won in 7 games)
1988 A's ((Kirk Gibson's home run set the stage for maybe the biggest upset of them all. I lost 50 bucks on this one! lol)
1996 Braves (The only people who believed the Yankees would win this series were the team members. My heart was with my Yankees but I knew the team was young and they were going up against the defending world champions. This may have been the sweetest of the 4 recent championships.)
A-Rod on track for like 130 something !! How many you think he'll hit ??
1988 A's. You guys lucked up big time.Is Erik Bedard of the Orioles league leading 75 k's a fluke or is he for real?
Cleveland Indianssome of the great Giant teams of the 60s,they finished 2nd about 5 years in a row,but the 2 teams that won 116 games, neither won the Series.the 1906 Cubs, and the 2001 Mariners.heck, Seattle never made it out of the first round of the playoffs.Hard to beat that.
Why do some people consider Biggio as being a better 2nd baseman than Alomar?
I like you Dodger blue,You seem really fair with your answers,Your one of the few PPL that doesn't act like a jerk, YES the BD of the late 40's and 50's were a GREAT TEAM,i guess i have a soft spot for all the NY teams,I like the dodgers,I saw the Roy Campella story on the TTN a few weeks ago,He was one hell of a catcher!I would love to see a Yankee Dodger, world series :)))) But yes the BD of the late 40's and 50's were one hell of a team!!
Which team will win the AL West?
1969 Orioles. That was the "Miracle Mets" year. Can someone tell me what Alex Rodriquez's entrance song is?
How about the 1994 Montreal Expos(never had a chance)Who is your favorite player all time and currently?
'54 Indians. They went 111-43 but were swept by the Giants. Willie Mays made some catch, didn't he?Are the brewers the tigers of last year?
I LOVE the 94 Expos answer (probably the best team nobody has ever heard of)More realistically the 1960 Yankees or the 1975 Red Sox
"In the park HRs" and "out the park HRs"?
I have to agree with the Brooklyn Dodgers of the late 40's and early 50's and how about the 1994 Montreal Expo's/1994 Chicago White Sox who were up by what, 20 games when the strike ended the season? That could of been one the classic World Series of recent memory.2001 Mariners.
1953 Dodgers.
Looking just at the Series, the 1960 Yankees beat the sand out of the Pirates overall but still went down.
Edit: how could I forget the 1995 Indians?
I'm glad to see mention of the 1994 Expos. That team was something special... too bad we'll never know just how special.
How can we push for a metro stop at Dodger Stadium?
Actually the Brooklyn Dodgers did win a World Series in 1955 over the New York Yankees !69 Cubs-Ernie Banks, Fergie Jenkins, Ron Santo, and Billy Williams
