I know Soriano's injured, but why's Floyd on the bench?

Absolutely. $50 mil of it doesn't even count against the cap. Dice K actually got jipped when it comes to his salary, he deserves alot more considering what Zito got. It was a no brainer.

How do you put your baseball cards in a binder so they are ready to sign?

No. He isn't that good. Soon he will start his decline. Definitely not worth it in the long run. It would have been better if they invested in a much younger player.

Why do major leauge catchers ask the umpire for a new ball when the pitch is thrown in the dirt?

No professional athlete should be paid the bucks they are making. That is another story, and for the currant market, he should be one of the higher paid pitchers. He has potential to excess in the big leagues. Look at some of the contracts throwns at Pavano and Kevin Brown, amoung others. ith the market for pitchers, he deserves it.

Why is it that only one active player in MLB (the Yankee's Mariano Rivera) wears #42?

Too early to tell, he has only pitched 2 games so far, he hasn't pitched in a big game yet so it is impossible to tell. He could go undefeated the rest of the way and that would be worth the money for sure or he could go .500 the rest of the way in which case he wouldnt be worth the money. Really, he has not had enough starts yet to answer this question though. I think he has been worth themoney, he has pitched extremely well and could be 2-0 if the Red Sox could have scored runs in his second start.

If the yankees still throw the no hitter?

Only if he wins them a world series! The price that they payed for him is ridiculous! If he goes into any type of slump he and the Red Sox should be criticized!
