No professional athlete should be paid the bucks they are making. That is another story, and for the currant market, he should be one of the higher paid pitchers. He has potential to excess in the big leagues. Too early to tell, he has only pitched 2 games so far, he hasn't pitched in a big game yet so it is impossible to tell. He could go undefeated the rest of the way and that would be worth the money for sure or he could go .500 the rest of the way in which case he wouldnt be worth the money. Really, he has not had enough starts yet to answer this question though.
