How bad are the Padres if the are leaning on rookie Kevin Kouzmanoff to lead them?
Question:The team has Giles, Cameron, and the antique Maddux and they put pressure on a rookie.
Answers:
Who officially had the first homerun of the year?
Not sure about the logic there. I assume now one else wants the responsibility. To his credit Kouzmanoff says hell take the responsibility and do whatever the team needs him to do.
What should I name my softball team?
I don't think they are bad dude. I think their line-up needs a bit more pop to it, but this is a team with Jake Peavy and Chris Young. The front of their rotation is great, and Trevor Hoffman still knows how to close.
The line up is not horrible. The Giles brothers are in there - and they could do some great things playing together. Cameron strikes out a lot, but he is exactly the kinda guy you want roaming CF in a large ballpark like Petco.
Any tips for playing 3rd base?
Optimistic liberals, gotta love'um. They suck end of story. Why does Mariano Rivera get to wear 42?
Right now they are doing just fine, thank you. Record of 2 - 0 and Kouzmanoff made some great plays last night. They always find a way to compete... They have Peavy, Chris Young, Hensley, Maddux, and the other old man David Wells. The rotation seems strong enough. Even though two of their starters belong to AARP and have their insulin delivered straight to the dugout... Their Bullpen is still good with Hoffman and Meredith around.
I still root against em though.
I don't think they are as bad as the Giants though. Man, they are really old and bad.
I think you are talking about the article on Yahoo. If you are then they just said starting a fire because he has a hobby of camping and put it in the media guide. Bud Black told him he had a week to learn how to start a fire in the clubhouse. He took the week and learned how to start it. He did it and got a pretty good sized fire.
Should Hank Aaron go to see Bonds break the Record?
This team has two weaknesses; the lack of offensive impact players, and the back of their rotation. I didn't think that Wells would realistically make more than half his starts; then, I find out that he has diabetes. I don't think Maddux has much left in his tank. They might have enough pieces to be a decent team, but not enough, IMHO, to take the NL West.More Questions & Answers...
