dirk is the manWho's a better Power Forward Kevin Garnett Or Tim Duncan?
tough question. He is a unique phenom in that he is an agile 7 footer with an incredible jumper and serious range. On the other hand, he doesn't contribute in the same way that a classic big man's game would buy providing solid defense in the paint, rebounding, and a good back to the basket game. There certainly is a lot of hype surrounding the guy but you have to wonder...if he can't lead his team out of the first round against an 8th seed, how can he be considered an MVP? He didn't even "show up" and perform when his team needed him in any of the games against GS.Do you think it's possible for the Spurs to sweep the Suns?
Kinda, kinda not...he definetely does not deserve to lead the mvp vote, but I feel sorry for him because white guys don't get as much publicity as they should in this league. If I lost 30 pounds by the end of the summer, would it help me jump higher?
he's a great player, but he can't turn on the jets in clutch situations. When is the regular season MVP announced?
dirks game is based on him playing against a big man, although he plays like a smaller player, more like a guard, but slow...that step back jumper and lean in are indefensible, but only effective if he isnt double teamed... the four guard line up the warriors throw at him keeps both the bigs off balance and where they cant put the ball on the floor, rendering them ineffective outside of the key...look at how the warriors are playing...the ball ends up in the paint on every possession, whereas the mavs are taking outside shots on a larger % of their possessions than usual... it is common knowledge that when pro teams scrimmage against themselves (in camp and pre season) that the smaller lineups usually come out pretty good...for the same reason, more mobile , doubling on defense and getting out on the break...More Questions & Answers...
