Big Z is an average player no matter if he was an all star 3-4 years ago, Lakers have more talent than the Cav's. You may have forgot that Lamar Odom was all star when he was on the heat. If you know anything about your team before he got injured he was having an all star season. Then he came back and was still really solid.
Mcgrady, has been injured for the last 5 years (exaggeration) This is Yao's first year living up to the hype of a Great Player. And Mcgrady shouldnt even be in this conversation he hasnt won one playoff series yet. Eventhough they will beat Utah.
Nash, You have a decent point, but everyone has that point. But he is an amazing talent, Joe Johnson, Q. Rich, Leandro Barbosa, Boris Diaw, and Raja Bell all bumbs until they got with Steve Nash now they are all all star talents. Nash is the only player I know's who can do that with anybody.
The only person I can think of who almost went to the finals without a good co star was AI and my 76ers against the Lakers who were Horry, Kobe and Shaq and Fisher.
Dont get me wrong Kobe is the best player in the whole world. He can carry a whole team on his back. But for how long. I think Lakers can beat Pheonix because Suns are not a team built for the playoffs. Kobe's is one of the most clutch players ever. Kobe cant win MVP because he is not Most Valuable, his team will never have a winning season without another major star. But in the Playoffs Kobe has a Chance of being Great and making history.

What exactly are you saying? You're complaining about the great players in this league having good teammates and you talk about Kobe like he won 3 belts and was the MVP of all 3. When in actuality, we all know he wasn't the most valuable player on any of his championship teams.
Kobe has the same number of championships and regular season as well as postseason MVP awards as Derrick FIsher and Devean George. Good for him

Shaq was the man on the Lakers not Kobe. Kobe gotta thank Shaq for those ringsKobe would never have a ring if it were not for Shaq. If anything, he rode Shaq's coattails to the title. The Lakers were very deep and talented when they won their rings. Kinda like the Mavs and Suns are now. the suns are probably as talented as those Laker teams from the late 90's. T-Mac is a lot like Kobe. Selfish. Nash and Dirk have the best chances of getting a ring this year. Kobe reminds me of Dominique Wilkins. Lots of flash, but detrimental to the team because he shot way too much. If Nique had Shaq back in the day, he would have a bunch of rings too.

He had horry, fox, george, fisher, and most importantly Shaq. People forget how stacked this team was before they fell apart in 2004. I mean look what shaq did for wade. He wasn't much of a factor in the finals but he did just enough to grab attention so wade could do his thing.Now lets see kobe take the lakers to a championship and win it all on his own. He wanted his own team , all the glory, and got it. I guess he's now coming to the slow realization that even the best didn't do it alone.
having scoring titles doesn't make you a good teammate. Its a great collective effort. I dont' think anyone could call anyone on the 2004 pistons a bonafide superstar or a big scoring threat. But with a GREAT collective effort and team work they completely dismantled the overrated 2004 lakers.
Having a whole bunch of accolades doesn't mean you are a good teammate which is what you need to win a championship.
