Here is a simple question?? What "EXACT REALISTIC" moves would you do if you were running the Lakers? Minus KG
Everyone is always taking about getting KG. That wont happen for two reasons: 1. K. Mchale will not trade KG to a Western Conference team, 2) K. Mchale will not trade KG to the Lakers(hello!?! Dont you remember the 80's Celtic-Laker rivalry)!

How can I watch the NBA playoffs online, in germany?
I think the Lakers need a much better supporting cast, and definitely a strong center. To do that, JAckson has to let go of Odom and Parker and pick up some better players, like Camby, J.Terry, or Stackhouse, or Nene. How much were the "We Beleive" shirts sold at Golden State arena?
Lakers can trade Odom with Jermaine O'Neal or with Boozer... Los Angeles can trade Smush Parker, Vlad Radmanovic and Jordan Farmar with Jason Kidd or with TJ Ford and Anthony Parker... They can trade Bynum, Kwame Brown, Ronnie Turiaf with Drew Gooden or Udonis Haslem...Lakers need a serious Big Man and an assist-man...
if i was the lakers, i would try VERY HARD to get KG. they need someone like kg to bring energy and attitude to the team. the lakers were very soft this past year and had no spark in there starting five and especially off the bench. if the lakers get kg, we all know that they would have to get rid of Odom, Parker, and everyone else on that terrible bench. But if i was the lakers, i would try desperately to keep odom and somehow get kg. If this happened, their starting five would be ridiculous!! Farmer, kobe, bynum, odom, garnett= NBA FInals!! The lakers don't need jermaine o'neal or carlos boozer because they wouldn't do anything for the team. Boozer is too slow and j. O'neal as we all know cannot be a prime factor when it comes down to playoff time. Don't give up hope for the lakers getting kg. One last thought, if the lakers got shaq a few years back and brought phil jackson back from retirement after his feuds with kobe, then they can easily get kg.
What are the rules to H-O-R-S-E?
The Lakers are in a tough spot. This free agent crop is pretty weak (not a lot of players who can be significant difference makers), and the Lakers don't have a high draft pick. Also, Bynum is so young and has so much potential, you would be foolish to give up on him. If you deal Odom, do you really think your going to con some other team out of giving back a better player then him in return?? You would be lucky to break even on a deal with Odom. The only real answer is the one that Lakers fans don't want to hear: You need to trade Kobe. You could get a couple good players in return, and some future draft picks. If you don't, your going to continue to be mediocre, and after 2008 I believe Kobe has the option to opt out of the rest of his contract.
As long as Kobe Bryan is playing for the Lakers, you will not see another superstar on that team. Its Kobe's team, and Kobe wants it to ALWAYS be Kobe's team.
Kobe will most likely not go anywhere else except New York. Its not Kobe's decision, its Mrs. Kobe Bryant's decision. Do you really expect Kobe's wife to give up living in LA and move anywhere else except for New York?
The Laker's only hope is to pick up some veterans chasing a ring to add to the supporting cast.
Well I would continue to hold-on to Andrew Bynum. I think he's going to be a great talent. I would invest in a veteran point guard who is more efficient than Smush. I would package Smush, Walton and maybe someone for some real low post help.
I would have a heart-to-heart talk with Lamar and explain to him that we need you to try and average a double-double this season. Lamar can score at will against most defenses. This year showed how much Kobe needs some real consistent help.
Is Tim Duncan the greatest player of this era?
Ok the trade rumors about Kevin Garnett to the Lakers won't happen, due to salary differences. But think about the possibility of Kevin Garnett opting out of his contract and sign with the Lakers? Now I believe he has an option of doing so.
And if any trade will happen, with the Lakers and Twolves, a third team must be involved.
