Just wondering about basketball and a player?
lamar odom to me seems like a decent guy hes excellent in assists, rebounds and can score some.my wife met him and said he was nice anyway do you think he gets tired of being overshadowed by kobe?.would you like to see lamar become more of a scorer? he does have the length that presents problems for opposing teams.kind of similar in size height wise like rashard lewis though not as good a shooter.overall what do youll think of mr.odom?
Answers:
Odom is a long player who can do a little bit of everything. He's a good defender. He can handle the ball up top, but he's not really one to create his own shot. I don't think he has that intensity or edge that will allow him to be a dominant scorer in this league. For that reason alone, he is a support player, which compliments Kobe well.
I think for the Lakers to take the next step, Odom has to step up and play a bigger role, like Pippen did for the Bulls. When he does, the Lakers will go farther. Otherwise they'll have to bring in some new players to help Kobe get deeper into the playoffs.
Upset, upset, may the Warriors defeat the Mavericks?
lamar is a great all around player and role player. however he is not a great scorer. therefore he is a great compliment to kobeDont you think that the atlanta hawks should draft acie law ?
Great skills but lacks the killer instinct. He's best as a 2nd or 3rd scoring option. He teases you with the talent, but doesn't have the big shot or big game mentality needed to be THE man on a team. He's in a good role with the Lakers, however, he'll never be good enough for the fans because they want him to be a Pippen type player. He'll never be that good - I say he's a better version of Robert Horry (a good role player who does a bit of everything). If the Lakers got a true secondary player, say a KG or Jason Kidd, then I think Odom would be in a perfect situation on the Lakers. Or, if Odom got traded to a Dallas or San Antonio, where he could blend in but still be relied upon, then he'd be in a better situation.Who do u think that will win the nba playoffs?
he probably is tired of kobe cause kobe is overated. i could beat him seriously. odom is basicly tthe best team player on thier team to me.Who has the best chance of winning the NBA championship next year?
He's wasted potential in a player. By that I mean that he's a good player, but he's not the correct fit for the Lakers team. There are a number of other teams where Odom's talents would be a compimentary addition and devastate opponents. Right now the majority of plays go through Kobe and thus Odom has little chance to shine.Should the Presidential debates hasve the same exact coveraqge as the NBA on NBC?
lamar is an OK player at best when the lakers traded for him they were hoping for Scottie pippen type player he fits the bill closely but gets injured to often and lacks the ego stability of scottie to play with a real super star and succeed. for odom to come into his own kobe will have to slack up on his play an let odem control the floor for a couple of games this will likely result in a loss and kobe does not like to lose so it will not happenbest bet is to trade lamar and bynm for KG or AK47 someone with strong character and a stable ego
I think he knows his role on the team.
