How far do you think the Toronto Raptors can go in the playoffs?

Answers:

Will anybody miss Mark Cuban?

They'll make it to the 2nd round, then their inexperience will catch up with them. The Raptors are a great team and I think that in the future they could win a title, but this year they're not there yet.

How do i become aggressive in basketball?

They can get as far as the semi-finals and will lose to the Bulls.
If the Nets managed somehow to defeat the Bulls, then they have a better chance on it.

When did the TV series "The White Shadow" run? Starred Ken Howard as HS basketball coach.?

They can beat any team in the East on any given day. They have the talent to go far. Realistically, i cant see them going farther than conference finals.

The champs are coming out of the west.

I dnt get this? more?

Theyre good, but if they have to play Cleveland they will lose. If they get Detroit, they lose. Miami and Chicago would beat them as well. Basically, they wont get past the second round.

Anyone else disgusted with the NBA officiating for the Spurs/Suns Game 3? Namely, Ginobli?

The Raptors can go really far in the playoffs.
I think they will easily beat the #6 seed in the first round. Right now, it looks like that will be Washington. Washington has no playoff experience practically, and Gilbert Arenas is out for the season. They are on a big losing streak.
I also think Toronto can beat Chicago or New Jersey. Chris Bosh would dominate them, and there are other good players on the Raptors besides Bosh to match Chicago's players.
They will get to the Eastern Conference Finals, but lose to the Pistons or the Heat.
There is a slim chance they could win the East.

Don Nelson is a great coach and creates a lot of mismatches but how come he has never won a championship?

i cant predict how far they will go but they are a very dangerous young team and can get to the nba finals. although the bulls can give them trouble.

Who has won more NBA championships East or West?

The east is wide open. I wouldn't bet on them going to the Finals, but I wouldn't bet against them either. If their perimeter guys are hot, watch out.

You look through the records, and the only team with any kind of separation is the Pistons, and they're not that far out in front. Every other seed down to #6 may as well be tied for 2nd.

Where To Buy Real Authentic NBA Hoops?

2nd round probably. I like TJ Ford!

Why are the Suns so annoying? I cant stand to watch them play. They think they are tough but it is agonizing?

They only get past the first round (at most). Raptors will lose in the 2nd round should they win the 1st round. Playoff experience will be a major factor. Pistons, Bulls, and Heat have it. It's hard to see the Raptors pull a major upset on any of these teams.

How many players in the nba draft get guaranteed money?

I'm going witht he first round. I don't think any one on that team has any playoff experience.

Who is the weak link in the pistons almost flawless starting 5, and who do you trade him for?

I am thinking east finals, the Raptors should beat the injuried Wizards in the first round. Then if it is the Bulls, I think the Bulls lack consistency in offence during the course of a game and a shooting drought here and there will cost them the series. If it is the Cavs, only need to find a way to shut down LeBron (easier said than done) but in a playoff series, this is do-able with continuous adjustment. Then the Raptors have enough talent to beat the Heat or Pistons in the east finals but what the Raptors don't have is experience and that will cost them the chance to play for the nba title this year

LeBron not making the All NBA first team?

First round

If dirk wins the MVP this year should he give it back?

Conference Semi-finals because they are not an experienced playoff contender

Whos a bigger loser ? : jdwj76 or jdwj76?

probably the semis. conference finals if they get lucky somehow or if they're whole team is healthy and something goes wrong with the bulls. bargnani was awesome this year and the tj ford and jose calderon tandem was amazing.

How many seconds of difference is between an actual NBA game, and what we see on tv? Broadcaster calls the play

Washington is too weak to hang on to the 6th spot so it's likely Toronto will be facing the Nets.
Let's break this down ... if Raptors face Washington then Toronto should make the next round since Toronto have the stronger lineup even if Jamison nullifies Bosh. Toronto have a chance against Chicago since Captain Kirk and Flash Gordon are streaky shooters and Ben Wallace is getting up in the years. Luol Deng is very dangerous and the injured Garbajosa's defense is going to be missed. For me, the Chicago/Toronto series is too close to call.
If Toronto faces New Jersey ... it's gonna be a tough series. Bosh should be able to dominate the front and is key to winning the series. Kidd/Carter/RJ is one of the best backcourts and its gonna be tough shutting them down ... Again, Garbajosa's D will be missed ... I probably go with Ford, MoPete and Parker as starters to try to shut them down. But a Raptors/Nets series is gonna go down to the wire.
