because he isn't. he's an offensive minded coach who like to play zone, which is basically a cop-out for strong defense. Detroit mainly use it to throw teams off thier rhythm by jumping between man-on-man and zone. which has worked brilliantly against the Bulls.I think Saunders is a good coach. but he's not a defensive coach the likes of Larry Brown, who can control the tempo and where the ball goes with his player configurations.
