Do you think lakers should try to deal Odom and kwame and get KG?? get enough cap space to sign bibby?
Question:I think the lakers should deal Lamar odom and kwame brown to the wolves and pick up Kevin Garnett.
They could maybe pick up a decent back up center like Jamal Magloire, P.J Brown, McDyess, Kurt thomas and pick up a center/power forward from the draft (There's plenty of them who are nba ready)
The lineup would look like this
Bynum (in the middle)
KG (setting screens and knocking down J's)
Walton (the gel for the triangle)
Kobe
Farmar
I think KG brings as much to the table as Lamar Odom (timely scoring, post up baskets, drilling Js, rebounding) except 3 point shooting. KG is good half court passer and doesn't need the ball to make an impact in the game. KG's got at least 3 more good years in him before he starts to break down. .if I were the lakers I would look to deal odom and kwame and get some cap space and sign a free agent center from the list above.
what do you guys think?

Wat are some sweet dribbling moves?
Twolves will not deal KG with out packing Andrew Bynum. Lamar Odom and Kwame Brown is not enough. As much as I like Odom, he is the odd man out. Kobe and Lamar has no chemistry what so ever. Knowing the Lakers, they are known for great 'Big Men', from Wilt, Kareem, and Shaq who dominated. The Lakers should really aquire Kevin Garnett. It improves their defense in the middle and prevent teams like Phoenix Suns, running in the paint. And try to sign Jamal Magloire, he provides the size, and can score down low.As far as point gaurd goes, Jordan Farmar is decent pg, he can defend and has potential. Lakers wont even give a new conract for Smush Parker.
They should also consider signing James Posey, they need a solid defender that can gaurd, Shawn Marion, Manu Ginobili, etc.
Now this lineup would look decent, defensively it looks good.
C Kevin Garnett
PF James Posey
SF Luke Walton
SG Kobe Bryant
PG Jordan Farmar
Bench
Vlade Radmonovic
Maurice Evans
Sasha Vujacic
Brian Cook
Ronny Turiaf
Shammond Williams
The bastardization of a once great competition, Basketball?
Wow!! If they got KG AND Bibby they would be a powerhouse!! That team would be ridiculous! Why do sports man make lot's of money?
that would be a good trade, but I don't see it happening.Lakers need to get back to what they used to be and win another 3-peat.
maybe if Shaq would come back to LA...
no jk.
If Cleveland plays Utah in the NBA Finals, does hell freeze over?
Anyone could use KG (especially the lakers), but it won't happen. There's no way the wolves would take kwame brown (I don't know how this guy's still in the nba). And kobe can't play with another star. He couldn't co-exist with Shaq and he wouldn't be able to co-exist with KG.Who ask's the most stupid questions: jdwj76 or Ben I ?
Rediculous. Garnett makes twice as much as Odom and Kwame COMBINED. Garnett wouldn't be a possibility. Also, I don't think KG would fit into LA's scheme. And Bibby going to LA is absurd. Kings will not ship off Bibby, he just had an off year. He'll be back.
Does allen iverson +melo make denver a championship contender?
i don't care if they need to trade half the team. KG is worth it. Now, bibby, I don't know about him.Do you think iverson is the fastest guy in the NBA?
I think they have made a series of really bad decisions going back to Shaq's last season. They have a huge series of holes, but the big question is if anybody can co-exist with Kobe. I love to watch him play, he is amazing, but his ego did in the dynamic duo, and he dominates the ball so much that a star like KG who defers too much as it is might not be the best option. That said, they need a big-time small forward, like a Marion or Rashard Lewis to help spread the floor and play both inside and outside, a good 4 or 5 to help clog the lane, clean the glass, and block or alter a few shots, and most importantly, they need a real point guard, instead of the inadequate pinch-hitting that Smush Parker does. A Deron Williams-type or younger Jason Kidd clone would be great for this team, as he could help set the tone and really run the offense, as well as adding some defensive intensity, which they really lack right now. Maybe Farmar will provide that someday, but for now it's too early to tell. Odom should go, he's versatile and talented, but doesn't gel well with Kobe. Kwame is a career backup on any other team, and as for Bynum, it's still early, but my honest opinion is that he won't work hard enough to actually do anything more than be a 12-and-7 guy at best, because he lacks focus and spends too much time celebrating his good moves and games instead of getting back and focusing on defense. He might eventually be the next Horace Grant, but the next Kareem? Definitely not.More Questions & Answers...
