It's pretty good, Portland wasn't a team who was thought to at one point be losing games on purpose. They were a very young team and if adding Oden is a key to them finding their way back to the playoffs in a couple years, I am all for it. They've got some good forwards, the ROY in Roy and if they get Oden, then they'll be a team to be reckoned with in a few years.its good for the blazers and nba.

so maybe we cant all stay up and watch all of his games, or durants games either (he'll go to seattle), but i think it'll b good for the NBA. Portland lands a marquee name to pair w/ their two studs from last year (roy and aldridge). This is better than him going to boston where the name would still be paul pierce, or the grizzlies with Pau Gasol (if he's still there). But lets look at the schedule possibilities... i dont know exactly how the NBA does it, but w/ Seattle Portland and Minnesota all in the same division, can u imagine the marketability of the multiple Durant vs Oden match-ups, or either of them going up against KG (if he stays there), not to mention that we are talking about the 3 worst teams in the Northwest Division, theres still Denver and Utah. I can see it either way. He could help Portland become a better team because he has a chance at being very good. It could also help a team with a poor image look a little better. The other side is that Portland is still full of a bunch of players that have less than stellar moral character, they could take one of the best prospects in years and bring him down with them.
