Does anyone else have trouble watching Eastern Conference basketball?

It hasn't just been this year, for several years now I just haven't been able to stay with an Eastern Conference game. If the Cavs are playing the Rockets or somebody I might watch it, but when its like it is tonight Cavs and Nets I just can't get excited about it. Both of those teams are going no where fast, it just seems like the whole Eastern Conference is full of nothing but ineptitude. I have to admit I do like the Washington Wizards the way they play, even though I'm a Mavs fan and love Dirk, Gilbert Arenas maybe my favorite player. But one team doesn't make up for a whole conference. Detroit doesn't scare me, Miami they were a fluke last year the worst team to win the finals in ages, Chicago is boring, Toronto I love Chris Bosh but I wouldn't watch a Raptor game same goes for Dwight Howard and the Magic. I mean I'd rather watch Golden State and the Supersonics over virtually any Eastern Conference matchup. It's just so sad

Who was the biggest disappointments this in the nba?

The east is geared for playoff basketball they play a slower tempo which is what b ball is all about , who can get the other team to play its style of b ball. You say its boring, however thats what its all about. You must live on the west coast and dont really understand east coast style. The west is all about run and gun and as you see the last couple of years the most flashy west coast teams cant win a championship. Phoenix cant even make to the finals, and you see what happened to Dallas last year. San Antonio the only west team that has shown that they can win it all plays like an eastern conference team think about that one for a second.

Why does Kobe Bryant wag his tongue when driving to the hoop?

Yeah I know what you mean. But the reason is the east has more half court type of teams. The Heat, Bulls, Pistons, Washington, and even the Nets play slower tempos compared to teams like The Nuggets, Suns, and Warriors. Also teams in the just flat out score least some say its more a defense games others say bad shoot percentage. But I think if watch Eastern Conference teams you'll that they wait till late in the shot clock to shot, where as most West teams fire up shot earlier in the shot clock (like the Suns).

Kobe loses Shaq and he can't even get out of the 1st round and he takes terrible shots in the 4th. Disagree?

The East is powered by slow grind it out games controlled by defense while the west has a lot faster pace. This creates lower scores for the east and less highlighted dunks and breakaways. This is most likely the reason for your dislike while watching the Eastern Conference. I personally enjoy a matchup of two defensive powerhouses. It creates a greater challenge the watching two teams simply swapping baskets. I give credit to both conferences as they are able to produce championship teams but I am glad they have two contrasting styles to appeal to all nba fans.
