If U Were To Start A Franchise...?
Question:Who would you build around , Oden or Durant?
I would personally go with Oden. As i think about the last 7 years in the NBA, all the championship teams have dominant big men. Since the year 2000, Shaq owns 4, Tim Duncan owns 2, Ben Wallace owns 1. Durant would be a nice complement to Oden, but i would rather build around Oden.

Who going to win tonight between rockets and jazz?
Youre right. Thats exactly why I said that Oden is the next big thing in basketball, and thats why I said the Suns would win the Finals before the Mavericks, because the Suns have Stoudemire. Another prime example is that as soon as Shaq left, the Lakers stopped winning Titles, even with Kobe. Its all about the Big Men. Oden is my first pick.Do Heat fans have any excuses for tonights game?
Durant is a better shooter and all-around player. He also has long arms.Oden will be a threat down low.
But Durant has a slight edge over Oden because he is vertisile.
Who played with Steve Nash as a backcourt teammate at Santa Clara?
Oden because you rarely come around a center like him he can dominate the low post on defense and will be able to soon on offenseDo you think the Golden State Warriors have a chance at geting past Utah?
I'd go with Greg Oden too. There are less dominant big men in the league than there are people like Durant. Plus, all of the championship teams for the last 8 years have had a dominant big man.98-99: Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs
99-00: Shaquille O'Neal, Los Angeles Lakers
00-01: Shaquille O'Neal, Los Angeles Lakers
01-02: Shaquille O'Neal, Los Angeles Lakers
02-03: Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs
03-04: Ben Wallace, Detroit Pistons
04-05: Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs
05-06: Shaquille O'Neal, Miami Heat
So why not pick Oden. You could keep putting people around him. And as Oden gets older, he will be like Shaq. The thing with Kevin Durant is that you don't usually build teams around a guard like him. Like I said, guards have really shown that they can take over a game by themselves, ( Ughm, D-Wade and Kobe) but it is the big men that dominate. Plus, Greg Oden can make his team win better. They went to the national championship game. Durant couldn't even get his team to the final four. Winning is the most important thing when it comes to pro sports, and Greg Oden can do just that.
Current NBA playoff standings?
Oden, he is already a good size for the NBA. Durant might be a superstud in college, however he won't match up well with defenders like Bruce Bowen and Shawn Marion. He's like the Reggie Bush of basketball. Why is everyone trashing the Warriors? Are you all just jealous that we made history with our upset?
well id take oden first but why not both put oden at center and durant at forward now that would be a dominating teamHow great would it be to see the Spurs eliminated?
I'd go with DurantThis guy is a once in a decade pick, and his talent will prove it. I mean, have a seen this guy play? He has the skills to the be the next MJ, and everyone knows it
But settling with Oden would be more than fine with me. All the people who say he's overrated can take a seat. this guy is dominant and knows what to do with the ball, unlike many big men.
When he pulls down an offensive rebound, he doesn't automatically go back up with it, unlike other big men, which i like. Sure, if he has the oppourtunity, he'll go up with it, but he's smart enough to know if he has nothing to go back to his amazing ballhandler, Conley Jr,
If the Mavericks lose tonight will they be eliminated in the first round?
Durant, hes a better player. I dont even think Oden is ready for the NBA yet. Also, Ohio state played a lot better when Oden was on the bench with foul trouble.Anyways, with time Durant will grow into a dominate big man hes 6"11. Once Durant gains some weight and adjusts to his body he will be one of the elite in the NBA.More Questions & Answers...
