Is it bad for a composite leather basketball to get wet?
Its a Spalding Zi/O. I want it to last for as long as possible.

Well im not familiar with the ball you are speaking of, but, i know the new balls that the nba was using at the begginning of the season were a composite leather. One of the reasons they switched to begin with was the fact that the new balls wouldn't absorb sweat throughout the game, therefore making the ball the same weight and texture throughout the whole game. So i wouldnt think it would be a big deal if your ball got some water on it, but, I wouldnt exactly leave it out in the rain.More Questions & Answers...
