Here's a dorky answer.

The way I see it, one of the big three in the west is going to make the championship. I would give Dallas a 50% chance San Antonio 30% and Phoenix 20%. SA is better than Phoenix right now (remember they have been resting their big three all season), and Dallas only has to play one of them.

Detroit is about 50% to come out of the east, with 20% Miami, 20% Chicago (not as good as Miami, but has an easier path to EC finals), and 10% Cleveland (whose road could run through Miami, Detroit AND Chicago). I'm not a Toronot believer.

I figure Detroit and Miami are 2 to 1 dogs (33%) against any of the big three, while Cleveland and Chicago are pretty close to road kill. That puts the chances of each team as follows.

Dallas - 39%
San Antonio - 23%
Detroit - 17%
Phoenix - 13%
Miami - 7%

Which leaves 1% for the rest of the field.

Dallas always chokes, so I really think Pheonix is going to take it this year, beating Miami in the Finals...

dallas. there's a reason they have the best record in the nba. with homecourt advantage, the depth they have, soon to be mvp dirk and the fact that they made it to the finals last year makes them the favourites.
