MVP: Dirk Nowtizki6th: Leandro Barbosa
How AWESOME was Baron Davis in Game Six?
Steve Nash or Lebron JamesMvp
Barbosa From Suns Is MIP
Is it just me or does the NBA regular season suck?
I really think Chris Bosh would challenge Dirk and Nash for the MVP if the Raptors could get to the Eastern Conference Finals. Because if you only count the games after Chris Bosh missed 12 because of an injury, the Raptors would have the best record in the East. And the slow start was caused by two brutal western road trip in November before the 9 new players in the team have enough time to learn the system and to play together, really.Sixth man: Barbosa, the suns are playing with 8 players and only 6 of them scores
Game 6...suns-spurs...who's gonna win?
MVP- either Kobe or Steve Nash. Dirk would win it if MVP stands for the best player on the best team, but it doesnt. Most Valuable Players, and I think Nash and Kobe are both more valuable than Dirk.I want Steve Nash to win MVP, but I think Dirk Nowitzki will get it this year. He led his team to the best record in the NBA and his stats don't look too bad either. On the season, he is averaging 24.7 points on 50% shooting, 90% from the line, 41% from the 3 point line, 9.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. Plus, he seems to be the favorite in the MVP race.
The sixth man will probably be Leandro Barbosa. When Steve Nash goes to the bench, the Suns don't have much to worry about when Leandro comes in. He can heat it up in a hurry while also shooting a high percentage and dishing the ball. He is averaging 18 points per game, 4 assists and 1.2 steals, while shooting 47.6% from the field, 83.4% from the line and almost 44% shooting from the three point line. If I wouldn't have known he comes off the bench, I would have looked at those numbers and thought he would be a starter.
Who wants to join me in going to the NBA league office?
MVP has to be Dirk. The people that vote wont want it to go to Nash because that would give him 3 in a row. That puts him in elite company with Larry Bird and Bill Russell. Not even Jordan won 3 in a row.6th man will probably be Barbosa. Everyone on phoenix gets recognized for their offense, but the reason their offense is so good is that they dont play any defense. Really Manu Ginobili is the best player not starting right now and the Knicks David Lee also deserves consideration. He is a double-double every night off the bench, plays great defense and also does the small things that dont get recognized. Barbosa doesnt do any of that, but he scores alot and that is what people give awards for.
How can i learn to better dribble with my left hand?
i think MVP 'll be Kobe Bryant and 6th player Jerry Stackhouse!!I did a search on the show LOST, why do the Dallas Mavericks keep on showing up?
the suns SHOULD sweep these 2, nash-mvp...barbosa-6th man. but it probably wont happenit'll go like this.mvp-dirk...6th man-barbosa
i truely hope dirk does not win it...he is just the best player on the best team like someone else had said. they can win games without him which they've shown. suns can't win games without nash(suns w/o nash...2-4...mavs w/o dirk...2-0 i think, but dont quote me on that.)
Is it true that Gilbert Arenas is on the cover of NBA LIVE 08?
MVP: Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas Mavericks - 25 points and 9 boards a contest, while putting up some shooting numbers reminiscent of the great Larry Bird (50% FG, 40% 3PT, 90%FT).Sixth Man: Leandro Barbosa, Phoenix Suns - He plays for the only team in the league that will not stop him. I guarantee this guy starts on all 28 of the other teams at either point guard or shooting guard. It would have been nice to see him test the market. He could easily give you 25 a contest as a starter. His first year he wasnt much of a scorer. He'll probably garner some votes for most improved player also.
