Are the Pistons just to good?
Question:a reporter from a chicago team wrote..
"Pistons just too good
And that's too bad for Skiles, as built-to-win Bulls can go no further against a far superior team

I know what it looked like, but the Bulls didn't choke away that big lead. They weren't outhustled. They weren't out-coached. Ben Wallace's late arrival at the stadium didn't matter. And it wasn't about youth or waiting turns or getting over a hump or any of that stuff.
The Pistons are simply better than the Bulls.
Much better.
Much, much."
that is like the 3 artical pretty much saying the same thing from chicago papers...
why are the Bulls fans fighting the facts ..especially when they are saying it in the bulls town
nothing against the bulls but its just a fact...
die hard fan or not its pretty much still the facts why cant the pistons get some respect for that... they are good...its not like us fans make up that... they are good...its not pretend

Phoenix vs lakers again?replay of '06..will lakers be able to defeat Suns?
It may seem surprising that the writer simply states the "Pistons are just too good" as a reason for Chicago's unexpected collapse but it isn't to me. The Detroit Pistons have always been a model of the perfect balance between defense and dynamic offense. There is no superstar in the team, which might lead the writer to simply address the whole team instead of one player. They have great players who all know their role.Chauncey - Play point, run offense and make open spot up 3 pointers.
Rip - Run screens and take the shot. Make open spot up 3's also.
Tayshaun - Attack the backet, make an open shot from out to 18-20 ft. Can make 3's
Rasheed - All-around player, turn-around jumpers, spot up 3's.
CWebb - Excellent passer, steady mid-range game.
All these players are similar in a sense that compliments each other, they all have the ability to shoot and defend (Webber is questionable) and they are an excellent fast-break team. They punish the opposing teams whenever they turn it over. I don't think their starting 5 has any weaknesses that stand out in a way that makes the opposing team exploit it. They are solid in every category.
Regardless of what Bulls fans think, the Pistons have gain respect from the brown years and I still think they are championship contenders. They have been consistent in their play, consistency is key in the playoffs and they have been consistent execution wise in their gameplan game in and game out throughout. Sweeping the Orlando Magic and the Bulls.we'll see.
Will Mark Cuban a) Fire the Little General b) Trade Dirk c) Kill himself?
They're good. They aren't anything special.Cleveland can hang with them.
Spurs or Suns will beat them.
The Pistons are too good for anyone in the pathetic Eastern Conference except maybe the Cavs if LeBron is cooking. But that means nothing. They would be a 4-seed at best in the West, probably worse. Whoever comes out of the East is going to get stomped by PHX or SA, fo sho.
MJ IS THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER, but is he righteous??
What I like about the Pistons is that there isn't a 'star' on the team. Their teamwork is incredible, and they have a deep enough bench to outscore most of the other teams' benches. I honestly think that they'll win the next game, and won't have a big problem with Cleveland (who I think is going to beat the Nets).Detroit vs Suns in the finals.
Who would win one on one in their prime? Tim Duncan or David Robinson?
The teams they are playing are making them look better.Orlando is just plain bad and the Bulls are relatively inexperienced in the playoffs and have bad matchup problems with the lack of interior players.
The Cavs will match up with them much better considering they have legitimate big men and a strong backcourt.
Jackson gets thrown out and yet Terry was still on the game for shoving down Davis?
they aren't just good they are better than just good!!The Bulls are outmatched. If anything, all Chicago's first round sweep showed is just how old and slow Miami has become. Chicago has no low post threat, and I can't see any team winning the chip without one.
I'll agree with Tom re: Orlando. The Magic winning just one game in that series was a victory in itself. Cleveland may end up giving Detroit a run, but I don't see why it would be any different from last year. Detroit can kill you at any position from 1-5.tell me, can Cleveland defend that? Say what you want about Lebron's offense, but in the end, Detroit will stop the other 4.
What are some good ideas for a sign for the Spurs playoff game?
thank you chicago fan for having some respect for my boys & being a true fan of the game by admitting that detroit is superior when it is oh-so-obvious that they are an amazingly good team and not making excuses like everyone else seems to do.What is the most entertaining series matchup of the first round?
yup. very well oiled machineRashard Lewis, one of the greatest sonic players/ hall of fame?
Just too good? Let's face it, the Bulls stunk! They're not their way anymore. The Pistons ARE just too dang good. Will Tay Prince be on the all-stars team next year?
kster your dumb! pistons cant be stopped.. not even by the spurs or suns... championship babyHow much does ABA players make on average in a season?
I'm a Pistons fan, so naturally I'm rooting for them,( Whoo - hoo! - Go Pistons!) - But anywho, Pistons rock because they are a great team who can work as a team 'together' not making on person stand more then the other. As for the bulls, I don't think the Bulls suck or that they play bad, it's just not the same without MJ (Michael Jordan) -- MJ really brought a lot to the team and he's an outstanding/ amazing player.
What the Phuck is wrong with the L.A Lakers?
hey bulls fan, i feel you. im going through the same thing, how do you think i feel, going to the game sunday. oh well, but anyways, no. they're not too good. since the bulls obviously won't beat them, they'll probably make it to the finals, but no championship for them. the west is so much better than the east. pistons didn';t impress me last night, both teams played pretty poorly. 81-74, mmm, not so good. so no. they're not too good. they're okay, not TOO good.More Questions & Answers...
