notiable help:
Duncan: Robinson, Manu, & Parker
Malone: Stockton

Anyways, I pick Malone is this one. If he had the help that Duncan had he'll have nba championships too.

Answers:

Bwa hahaha, LA Lakers, you're doomed, we Suns gonna burn and sweep you like ashes?

Malone because he was such an explosive force. He was a much better shooter than Duncan and a tremendous fastbreak finisher.

Duncan is incredible defensively, but Malone was no slouch in that department, making All-Defensive teams a few times himself.

And the TWO times they faced each other in a playoff series, Malone's team WON and he neutralized Duncan. First was in 1998 in West semis, and second was in 2004 in West semis with Malone playing for Lakers this time.

I agree with the writer who said that if Duncan had to face MJ and the Bulls in the 90's, Duncan would not have beaten MJ either.

And people talk of Malone choking in the playoffs, but forget that Duncan had his bad games too, but had more teammates to bail him out. I remember at one first round game in 2003 where he missed two free throws with Spurs up by 2 with 3 ticks left, then Suns hit a 3pointer at buzzer to win it. And in Game 5 of 2005 Finals, Duncan had a bad game and nearly lost it for Spurs, but Horry won it with his game winnder in OT.

Duncan is tremendous but I still think he is number 2 to Karl among all-time power forwards.

Which NBA team has the worst uniforms?

Malone. I agree with you! Hehe!

Does anyone else think the basketball season lasts WAAAAY too long?

Carl Malone? Come on, you can do better than that. Carl Malone not only never won a championship but he deserted his team trying to get there. Carl Malone was all about Carl Malone and was never a team player. Tim Duncan all the way.

Who Is The NEXT KOBE BRYANT ?

I would have to go with Tim Duncan, cause Duncan is still in his prime and already won 3 title's with more to come, and Malone had a guy who mailed all the passed to him to deliver in John Stockton, and had just as much talent round him as Duncan has had, so I'd have to pick Duncan over Malone, and I agree on what the 2nd person said with his answer, which is why Karl Malone's nickname now should be changed to Karl "The Failman" Malone

How did Kobe get on the all defensive first team?

I TOTALY AGREE WITH YOU

I think Karl Malone had NO help

Give me all the names of the players that are currently injured in the NBA?

Tim Duncan. Malone never played defense like Tim Duncan. And for the people saying Malone had NO help. He played with a Hall of Fame PG in John Stockten.

I want to get taller what should i do?

Yes duncan has more talent around his but all malone could do was receive passes from stockton and score or rebound ,he barely created a shot for himself. Duncan is way better and the best pf of all time if u ask me and i dont like the spurs but ill admit that

NBA-8 seeds beating 1 seeds?

Karl Malone was little more than Michael Jordan's b!tch come June. Tim Duncan is a winner. Karl Malone had no help? What about John Stockton?

Ok am 19 years old 5'8 140lb?

Duncan will go down as the best 4 that ever played the game, so I guess I'll go with him. And Malone had a lot more help than just John Stockton.

Will the nba voters change their mind for mvp now that mavs are almost out?

I like your comparison, both these guys are the perfect professionals, both plays (played) at the highest caliber... However, I have to go with Tim Duncan on this one; his career is not over yet; he still has another ~7-8 years to be where Malone was at... and you shouldn't base everything on stats... it goes both ways; Malone scored more because he had no help; Duncan doesn't need to score as much because he is the ultimate team player.. he plays to win; he plays for his team, if he wanted he could put up 30points a game... and from your stats on this is clear; defense; tim duncan anchors his team; he alters shots, blocks shots; other teams have to adjust to duncan. i think more people were worried about stockton than malone...

when you think utah; you think malone & stockton
when you think spurs; you think duncan

duncan my friend, duncan.

NBA Finals theme songs?

its tough to tell with big men, right now i think duncan might might edge out the mailman

Who is a better player?

Since I've lived in Utah my whole life and have seen Malone in his prime, I have to go with...Tim Duncan! I hate the Jazz, but I also hate the Spurs. Okay, really though, I'm going with Malone.

Raptors vs Nets in the playoffs.. What do you think?

two words, championship rings, duncan makes the players around him better, his passing is one of his key assets which makes him unstoppable, if you double him, he finds the open man, if you dont he will take it in and score every time, no disrespect to Karl Malone.

How can I play better defense without faling out of the game?

i am going to have to go with malone he was just such a force offensively.

you cant really go by rings because if duncan played during the jordan era he'd have no rings also.

Reseeding the NBA final four?

Larry Bird once said "that was God disguised as Karl Malone".

When will the MVP and the other awards for the NBA 2006-2007 season be announced?

Gotta go Duncan.

Stats aren't everything and even then Duncans are only slightly worse as a whole than Malones. Malone scored more and made himself into a lot better free throw shooter but where Duncan shines is his defence.

Malone had fast hands and was great for a big man at stripping the ball but he was no where near the stopper Duncan is. Duncan's a all defensive first teamer and Malone was no where near that level.

Also I don't think it's fair to say Malone had NO help — he did play with the best pure point gaurd of all time. Plus Jeff Hornacek wasa 20 point per game scorer when he came to Utah. Jeff Malone and Adrian Dantley weren't bad players either.

Malone's biggest bit of bad luck was having to face Jordan in his prime. But then as with ever other great player of that era there was the two years Jordan was wiffing at fastballs in the minor leagues when he could have picked up a ring but failed.

Three rings to none has to mean something.
