Will the Celtics record ever be broken for titles in a row?

Didn't Charles Barkley say...?
Not likely. These days the NBA has a luxury cap so teams will be very hard to keep thieir core players and their is Free agency unlike back in the day when harly any players changed places and only gor trades.
Another big factor is their are 30 NBA teams so each team has to beat out 29 other teams in best out of 7 series. The celtics did their damage against 8 other teams and only had to play 1 conference series and then the finals to be champion.
The road is a lot harder now, but if MJ didn't retire the bulls most likely would have won 8 in a row and that would have tied the record so it is possible.
Anyone know whats the song played when they introduce the players from LA Lakers?
No chance! Is the NBA's Developmental Leauge the equivalent of Baseball's Minor League?
Never. That's one of the greatest sports record in history.Does NBA commissioner Stern award the crime and punish the victims?
Never not in the era of Free Agency and egomaniac players who wont stay together as a team because someone always wants a bigger piece of the pie.Radiostations to listen NBA games live for free?
Never. It is even unlikely that a player will win 8 titles in his career ever again. What is the biggest rivalry right now in the NBA?
No.No team will ever have 12 guys with as much pride as the Celtics had in being the best. Even if you could get 12 guys like that together for one year, you'll never hold them together for 9 years (which is what it would take to break the Celtics' record).
95% of today's players have one goal...to get themselves on Sportscenter. That's it... forget all this crap about all these players claiming that they just want to be a champion. It's all talk, and talk is cheap.
Someone want to tell me that Vince Carter or Tracy McGrady wants to be a champion? Give me a break. But hey, their highlights look great on Sportcenter. Those guys can jump!
Another thing that motivated the Celtics was playoff checks... at that time, playoff money constitued a significant portion of a player's income... today, playoff money is chump change. It's not worth the extra effort for most guys.
