impossible scenario, unless Joe wanted to bring a guy back and obliterate thier salary cap with a guy in his mid-30's, has a hand injury that he won't correct until after retirement and gives you no offense.how were we better with him? the Pistons NEVER swept a series with him there.
if he stayed in Detroit, they never would have signed Chris Webber, because he wanted starter minutes. and Jason Maxiell wouldn't have been given the valuable in-game experience because Ben complained everytime they benched him.
plus, if they resigned him, they wouldn't have the flexibility to offer Chauncey Billups a max offer this summer. and he's the player they truly couldn't afford to lose.

No, he shouldn't cause now a days a lot of NBA player play for the money and fame. And thats why Ben Wallace went to the bulls in the first place. to make all of that money that his making. Way more than what the pistons pay'd him.No. The pistons , if anything, should look to get younger.
