Which team is likely to burnout/shine in the playoffs?
note these are two seperate question. Which team will be gassed in the playoffs and which team will be fresh and an unexpected contender.
Answers:
Plus they have a run and game going...you can't sustain that for more than 100 games you know if you include the playoffs...this is what has happened in the past 2 years.
Lakers are gonna shine...why? All the missing pieces in the puzzle are gonna be ready to go no matter where they end up. Kwame is gonna defend the middle. Luke Walton is gonna run the triangle. Odom is gonna rebound and facilitate the traingle. Kobe is gonna score a lot (which is his job) and guys comin off the bench are gonna be good to go since they havnt played the full season with a ton of them missing more than 10 games each.
Suns can't be stopped but can be contained. The lakers have done this before and they can do it again. Coach PJ is gonna exploit the Smush Parker/ Steve Nash matchup and make Nash exert more energy on D and make Smush go right at the MVP...thats what they did in the last game where smush got right past nash and got himself open several times and when he penetrated he drew fouls on shawn marion and one of the big 3 had to be taken out.
If you can take one of the three out, the suns are a totally totally diffrent team...an above average one not an elite one.

Pistons will win it all i think the spurs have spent all there gas moneyWho should be the NBA MVP this year?
The Bulls will shine, while the Suns will burn out in the playoffs.Although the Bulls might be the 2 seed, they get less publicity than Detroit, Cleveland, and Miami. This year, they are a better version of the Pistons from a couple years ago, with their great defense combined with some nice scoring weapons in Hinrich, Gordon, and Deng.
The Suns will burn out because they will have to play the Spurs in the second round. I don't think they can get past them. The Spurs are a smart, experienced team and will control the tempo.
Which NBA player has played highschoolball, college ball.?
Bulls will shine and Wizards will burnoutWho would be the best player if they didn't get hurt Grant Hill or Penny Hardaway?
i think the mavericks are gonna burn out. they're a good franchise and record team but not in the play offs. plus the west is too hard. by the time they get to the finals, IF they do, they'll be tired from at least one or two seven games series. and my lil bro brought to my attention today that they've lost all four times to the golden state warriors who they might have in the first round. and they dont have that good of a go to guy.i have too agree that if kobe plays good like he usually does they can do it. when he scores 40+ points they're 11-3. Smush just needs to play as best he can and stop arguin with Phil Jackson. So they're gonna shine.
In the east im goin with the Heat burnin out with wade gettin limited time and the cavaliers are gonna shine if lebron gets good support from his team

What do you think of the shoe design of the Wade 2.0 basketball shoe?
Burnout? DallasShine? San Antonio
I really think the Mavericks will burnout in the playoffs. They are the only elite team that hasn't faced an important injury this season(i.e. Nash for the Suns, McGrady/Yao for the Rockets). This makes me believe when they face teams like San Antonio they will really have to grind and fight which is where I think they will fail. Facing no adversity all season will have left them mentally weak for the tougher games.
As for San Antonio shining, as much as it pains me to say as a Rockets fan, the Spurs are just the complete package. Grit, Experience, and their Defense will carry them through even when their offense isn't there.
Now for my bias; The Rockets will be the unexpected contender. I really think people have forgotten how well they played Dallas 2 years ago. People only remember game seven, the blowout, and blame Yao/Tracy, but if you look at the box score Yao and McGrady scored all but like 4 of Houston's points. Yao has improved, the bench has improved and and barring back flare ups McGrady is still McGrady. San Antonio, Dallas, and Phoenix are still a notch above but Houston may suprise.
