Who do you think is the most likeable player in the NBA?
Personally I think it's Duncan, and this is coming from a Laker fan who's witnessed him and his Spurs kill us at times during the playoffs. Other than him though, I'd say Garnett. I'd love to say my personal favorite(Kobe) was the most likeable but yeah.....as for LeBron, I would have chosen him alongside KG and Duncan but then I saw this http://www.ihatelebronjames.com/bulletin...

How Spurs Going To Give Up a 20 pt Lead?
No contest... Kevin Garnett. You don't find guys like him anymore, who go out there and play the game by working hard. Everyone else just likes to talk and sell jerseys. He reminds me of a Bird or a Johnson or a McHale. Why doesn't Nellie let Adonal Foyal play?
Steve Nash ... he's such a great guy!Go Phoenix Suns!!!!!!!!!
Gilbert Arenas. He has a lot of fun out there on the court, and his swag is phenomenal.
Duncan sucks. He speaks like he's high or stoned. I think the most likeable are Ginobli and Bruce Bowen.
I missed the (rigged) NBA draft lottery. What is the order?
Baron Davis.Always talks to fans. He's signed a couple of autographs for me after games. Really nice and friendly.
Who do you think is more of a NBA legend, Kareem Abdul Jabbar or Michael Jordan?
Shaquille O'NealJason Terry (JET) of the Mavs is the nicest. In the Dallas area, Terry is very much involved with children programs, and is always seen high-fiving fans after games--win or lose. He's got a great attitude, gets the crowd going, and is an all-around asset to the DFW area.
Should dwayne wade get traded cause of his injuries?
I'm going to say it's Kobe.A lot of people hate kobe, but a lot of ppl like him. KG, Lebron, and Dwyane Wade have a higher percentage of people liking them out of all those who have heard of them; but the majority of people who still watch the NBA (much of whom are kids who like seeing dunks and high flyers) know of kobe better than any other active player and kobe fans probably outnumber KG fans (since Garnett has been pretty quiet since his run to the Western Conference finals).
Lebron James has a very large following and was great last year in the playoffs, but he hasn't inspired any news since his much-hyped debut (along with a very forgettable season this year). Plus, he's a nailbiting clutch-choker. Dwyane Wade hasn't made any headlines this year except for the surgery discussion. The only popular player in the NBA that has remained in the public's attention is Kobe, so that's why he's probably the most likeable player as of now.
The only comments of kobe's rape trials lately are made by kobe-haters (though cheating on his wife was really fucked up). His image has improved a lot and is apparently clean enough now for Nike to put him back on their endorsement list. Not that anyone has forgotten kobe's ballhoggin-adultering past, it's just that he's a noticeably more passionate leader and mature player.
Then there's Steve Nash, whom i've really liked since he was with the Mavericks; but lets face it, anyone who ever dreamed of being in the NBA would never wish they were a player who was known as the guy who could pass the ball really well and was a really good free throw shooter with no hops. He's likeable, sure, but i think more people are indifferent towards him than anything else.
Tim Duncan is awkward. He doesn't talk a lot. Not much is said about him. He's not an explosive player (hence the nickname "The Big Fundamental"). He's dominant offensively and defensively, but how many fans walk away from their TV sets after watching a Spurs game saying "man Duncan was really smooth tonight in his follow-through"? Duncan is boring and doesn't have much of a personality (when he's covered by the media). Thus, he doesn't give people much to like.

Yao MingSpurs/Nuggets Playoffs 07, Round 1, Game C! Any Thoughts?
YAO MING, KG, DWIGHT HOWARD, LEBRON JAMES.Who in the US. will like to attend the Spurs game with me Sat night here in SA? 22/m?
Dwane Wayne is the most likeable because he is the most public one, and rightfully so due to his recent success.Gibert Arenas is likeable because he's freakin crazy and makes sure everyone knows he's having fun by acting like a kid.
Kevin Garnett is likeable and should be respected much more by everyone. This guy puts his heart into every game he plays, you don't find too many guys like this any more. Im a huge Kobe fan, and if Kobe could finally get KG on the team(after about 10 yrs of anticipation), I think it could easily rub off. KG has so much character, it's incredible.
Who thinks that the Houston Rockets will go to the NBA finals?
I think it's Kobe Bryant. I've heard his Jersey is the one sold the most.LeBron. saw him in a starbucks and bought me a coffee.

Tony Parker. How many points did Larry "Legend" Bird average in his career?
Yao Ming...Why? you ask...
because he had to come all the way from china, and at first he was pretty * (come on... lets be honest) but then... he didnt give up, he trained his *** off, and look where he his now: he **** rules.
i think the most likeable player that has always been overlooked is Derek Fisher.
He is overlooker so much but he has a great personality, he always comes ready to play, he never lets drama, or ego get in the way of his game.
He is also an excellent passer and doesn't hessitate.
He learns to accomidate his team well.
...wish he would come back to lakers!
How does the teams in the NBA playoffs get homecourt?
I think it's any combination of Tim Duncan, KG, and Yao.Duncan because he is a champion, a superstar, but shows class and doesn't make it all about him. He makes it about the team. KG is loved because people feel so bad for him that he has such crappy talent around him. The guy seems really nice and really loyal to Minnesota; personally I feel bad for him. Yao is loved because he has captivated a whole nation (China), which in turn captivates us. He is the next great center in this league, and watching him adapt to the league has truly been fun.
