How come michael jordan was never in video games back in the day?
I always wondered this as a kid playing basketball games and he was never in them? Why? Did they not give him enough money. I thought it was pretty selfish if that was true.

WHo do you think should have been rewarded as NBA's MVP this season?
Jordan at one point decided not to be part of the NBA Players Association, and charged $30 million to use his likeness in a videogame. The last basketball videogame he appeared in before the first retirement was NBA Finals: Bulls Vs. Blazers for the Genesis and SNES during the 90's. Since what he was charging was so high, no game companies were willing to pay such a huge sum, and he was replaced by "Player #23." in most games. When he un-retired and played for the Wizards, he was in games again because he decided to be in the NBAPA for those 2 seasons.I don't know he was poor? He couldn't afford video games...
Hey suns fans how many rings do your players have?
He had is own video game.Would you like to see the NBA go overseas into Europe and Asia? And do you think it will?
He would be too good. Every category would be maxed out. It would be like cheating without using cheats. What would you do if you walked into a bar and saw Steve Nash slow dancing with Dirk Nowitzki?
What are you talking about? Back in those days video games were like six pixels was your dude and three pixels was the ball. They weren't really concerned about celeb endorsements at that stage in the history of video games because they had not reached a level, graphically, where it would make a difference. There was a Jordan vs. Bird game on the NES, I think on the Genesis too. Remember that until about 97 Madden had a pic of John Madden on it, or nobody at all. And at that point in time MJ had already retired twice.Putting a sports player on a box to create revenue is a reletively new concept in the grand sceme of video-games.
