Does anyone remember what Charles Barkley said years ago?
He said ,in not so exact words; "We had 11 black guys and 1 white guy on our team. And the white guy only made it because he was white." Dont get me wrong. I always liked Chuck, was a bit disappointed for maybe 30 seconds, and I still like him. Does anyone know if he recieved heat of any sort for those remarks? The reason I ask is this but I may be wrong; Wasn't he already working for TNT on their NBA pregame and postgame show?

Actually, that is one quote and he has made many more supporting different races. He recently said Don Imus should not be fired and he has always maintained that Larry Bird is the best player he ever played against. charles was a great player and I love listening to him, but he is no analyst and should never be taken seriously. He just says whatever he wants to. Earlier this season on TNT he made a joke about women; it went something like this:"Why shouldn't you buy your woman a watch? Because there's a clock on the stove".
Charles is wrong about everything and when he's wrong he changes his mind and says he's right and noone calls him out because he's "sir charles". kenny smith is so much better
