Why is the WNBA so hard to watch, and take seriously?
Is it the fact that it's pretty much just Women's College Basketball? Or soemthing else? I have my reasons; I just want ot hear yours!

Women basketball is not appealing because they play simple, barely anything fancy, no big dunks, and no nasty crossover. Men basketball was there longer and is worldly watched. Many guys don’t want to watch and see women basketball. If you a beginner and want to learn to play basketball, watch it because they play simple while men they do complicated stuff and do fancy stuff which appeal better to someone’s interest. Most female sports do not have much sponsors and money like men do because the more people watch the game the more sponsors take a chance to sponsor and even bring big money for the cause, if there is a little watch, big sponsors wont sponsor

i think causes its not as exciting as mens basketball there aren't any big name players like shaq Kobe lebron etc.. and the players aren't real flashy like dunks and its not as heavily promotedWhat percent of professional and college men's basketball players are under 6 feet tall?
Say what you will. The WNBA is a league in which the nuances of the game can truly be appreciated.Due to the lack of dunks, alley oops etc. they must compensate by playing fundamentally sound basketball (EVERY SECOND OF THE GAME). I think they would refuse to do it any different.
Because I LOVE fundamentally sound basketball, about 5 years ago I was only betting on Div. 1 mid-majors (like Butler) and winning I might add. Plus, I was only watching WNBA because the fundamentals were so tight.
It was very trifling watching grown men get spun around like Beyonce in a music video on routine plays in the NBA. Players taking unneccessary chances like that terrible pass I saw Eddie House out of the left corner for New Jersey last night. He had to make a bad pass because he was thrown a bad pass in the first place! THAT KIND OF DOG CRAP IS TOTALLY EXASPERATING!
If I want to see that junk, I can go watch the washed up "has beens" and "fakers" at the local Municipal Gym. IT SUCKS, REAL HARD! There's no skin left on it when the sucking is done and boy it is sore and irritated too!
If you seen the WNBA women play against even decent male ball players (no, not NBA players) you would see just how really good they are.
Which State is the best for basketball? High School? College? Prospects?
In every Pro Sport, the fanbase is mostly men. This has been true since the beginning of sports. It is a male fixation with physical dominance, aggressive behavior, and authority that attracts most men to sports.Most Men find it hard to look up to women (Politicians, business leaders, doctors, etc.)
The reason being the family structure of the Father-Mother-Child unit. The mother is a seen as a servant of the father. The father is the authority, the bread winner.
It is hard for Men to watch female athletes because they can't understand or relate to women. Unless they are dressed very revealing, sexy, like Maria Sharapova. This way the sport is secondary to the sexuality of a woman.
Gender roles dominate many societies. It is the reason why we never had a woman President, and why most CEO's are men.
Society wil not be equal until we change the way we think about the sexes.
