Who do you think should be the NBA MVP?
I think the MVP should be Kobe Bryant. Take Kobe away from the Lakers and they would be a team with the #1 pick in the NBA Draft. Kobe means everything for the Lakers. He's their poster boy. I know Steve Nash has had a great year but if you take him away from the Suns they'd still be a playoff team. Kobe is the best all around player in the league because he does everything needed to win. I think he's better than D-Wade, Lebron, T-Mac, Nash, and Nowitzki. I'm no Lakers fan but Kobe is a hall of fame player and he has the sole ability to carry a basketball team.

I'm sorry, but I disagree. Kobe Bryant, sure, is an amazing player, but he isn't unbelievable. If I were you, I would keep an eye on the Pistons. I think it is their year to shine and show that they don't need Ben Wallace. Obviously, they slammed the Bulls last night. I think Chauncey Billups has had his moment so I really would love to see Rip Hamilton getting MVP. Who knows though?Who will win MVP this year!!!?
Kobe should get it. The award is not for the best player in the league... people get that confused to much. Its the player that a team would be nothing with out... and come on what would the lakers be without Kobe.Who dumb azz think the spurs gonna lose the playoffs?
Suns would be in the playoffs without Nash?!The Suns lose by a big margin every time Nash isn't in the lineup. They lack leadership and they look lost when Nash is mia.

Since Nash has joined the Suns they get 50 plus wins every year, before that they weren't making the playoffs.
The reality is the MVP is between Nash and Nowitzki.
And it looks like Nowitzki is going to win it this year, while my vote goes to Nash.

First, he is the engine to the Suns team, and with out him, the Suns still have talent with Amare Stoudemire, Shawn Marion and Leandro Barbosa, but no one else in the league has the ability of Nash to find open players at will, and to score at will. It should not Kobe. Kobe is obviously better than Nash, but selfishness doesn't win games. And it won't get you very far in the playoffs either. Kobe has the ability to lead a team, but not to distrubite to open players every night. Even though he makes incredible shots, his shot selection is horrible, when he could find open teammates instead of trying to make a fade away 3 in double coverage. With out Nash on the Suns, they're not a play off teams. Over a 3 year span, the Suns have only won 3 out of 10+ games with out him. My choice is Nash.

Nash is good, dont get me wrong, but if he won the MVP this year and doesnt win a title, he will be the first 3 time MVP not to win a title.
And shaq only has one. If he wins it again, the MVP will star to lose its importance, at least to the players.

I beg to differ, Suns would not be in the playoffs w/o Nash. When he was out they lost all but one game. The team isn't the same. With Nash, not only do they win the other players excel.More Questions & Answers...
