How can i improve my hops?
Im about 5'8,sophmore point guard but i cant really jump. I really want 2 be able 2 dunk by next season. What type of things starting now can i do 2 jump higher??

There are many different things that you can do. If you have no weights, you can do toe ups or calf raises, you can do squats or any excercise that puts strain on your muscles. Also stretching will also help. You can also practice jumping to higher and higher objects and gradually increase. So basically any leg workout will help.How do you tease the big men when you take it to the rim?
calf raises true but to trully develop your "hops" you must do all sorts of Excersise for all of your leg muscles. squats. work on the quads all that and keep juming try to touch higher and higher on the backboard. thats how you will measure and see your progress.Who are the top 10 nba players of all time?
dude just keep jumping high. do a lot of stretches. i am a 7th grader and i am 5'9 and i can dunk. i was able to do this because of me doing streches everyday.try calf raises.. either on flat ground and raise yourself up onto your tip toes and back down.do sets of 15-20... or do it on a bench or something where you stand on the edge and raise yourself all the way up on your toes... and then lower yourself below the bench...
also do lots of tuck jumps. a great way to do this is to squat with your knees at a 90 degree angle for 15-20 seconds then jump as high as you can while pulling your knees up to your chest approximately 3-5 times... then repeat. this one is really tiring and you may need to take frequent breaks

calf raises, squats, or power clean for explosion. u can also do overhead squats, squats with a push press, or join track that'll get u to jump higherwork on your calfs...
