There is no blame on T-Mac or Yao.just as there would be no total credit for a win. I don't think anyone should be blamed...the Houston Rockets just need to find a player who can help McGrady such as an attacking point guard or a forward who can run the floor for easy hoops (Baron Davis, Steve Nash, Dwayne Wade, Ben Gordon). Houston needs to run more and speed up the tempo, thus scoring more. They were 29-3 this past year when scoring 100+. I will be a mega Houston Rockets fan forever because over the years they have had many memorable seasons I will never forget. Tmac is the team leader, he creates the shots. He says himself the Rockets will go as far as he takes them.The blame should not be all on Tmac for the loss against the Jazz though.
Yao could not contain Boozer on the defensive end, and turned the ball over many times on the offensive end.
Tmac, Head, Alston all struggled with their outside shooting which is obviously a huge problem for a perimeter team like the Rockets.

McGrady publicly placed the blame prior to and after the loss on himself which may have been a mistake to put so much pressure on himself. Or maybe he didnt trust his team mates enough to get the job done. Whatever the reason we all know that he cant do it all by himself, it is a team sport and therefore requires everyone to play a part.McGrady is the most talented player on that team thus so much is expected of him as he is the face of the team.When he stops hurting about these playoffs he'll realise that he will have many more shots at playoffs and titles ahead of him. So cheer up T-Mac there are worse things in this world than losing a basketball GAME.

He is the clutch shooter, if he doesnt put out his team suffersIts simple, He is the face of the franchise that's why he gets all the blame. Look at Nowtizki, he turned around the MAVS franchise since his arrival at Dallas but yet the only thing remembered was their loss and its all his fault (they say). That's similar too with T-Mac. The franchise players alwaaaays gets the blaming when losing.
