How are the Phoenix Suns always a favorite to win the Championship?
They don't play any defense and will always get crushed when a team plays lock down defense. Am I the only person who knows they aren't a playoff team?

I think that Phoenix is being pegged as the favorite in the regular season because they look good in winning games. They are exciting and they give the public a reason that they are a team to be reckoned with. During the playoffs, however, the level of competition changes and it is possible for you to be eliminated in the first round no matter how god your team is. In that level of competition where offense is played with more finesse and defense is tighter than the regular season, the Suns start to struggle, and, eventually, they are eliminated. In other words, the Phoenix Suns are only being favored because of their individual talent.Good teamwork

People like their "high-octane" offense, but I'll take a team like the Spurs or the Mavs over them anyday. Offense wins games, defense wins championships. Steve Nash can chuck up as many alley-oops as he wants, there are still more well rounded teams that can and will crush them in the playoffs.When is the next Warriors game?
dude i agree with u man. they dont play defense at all. they will get crushed by any team. mainly the Mavs, the only reason they lost to them is that they didnt play good enough defense. no ur not the only person. i also agree with u. but wht do to man they r in anyways.Although the phoenix suns are lame at defense, remember they have very stronger players, three of the sun's players are all stars, amare stoudamire is one of the best centers and defenders in the legue, nash can make plays and shoot, marion is a high flier and he can shoot. remember, they have one of the best 6th man in the legue which is leandro barbosa and he is one of the quickest in the legue too so once he come to the court, he leads the sun's offence. lets not forget that the suns have the best FG and 3 Fg in the whole nba so they might be bad at defense, but their offense is too much too handle for some teams...

they will win the championship this year for sure cuz noone can stop them except if u fuse Dallas and Spurs together call the super team SpullasWell they always have a great regular season record, a 2-time MVP winner, 3 All-Stars, and confidence now that Amare Stoudamire is back and healthy. However, I have to agree with you; the Spurs are much better all around and won't let Phoenix play their up tempo offense against them. As for Stoudamire making a difference, Suns' fans seem to ignore the fact that just about a week or two ago, Duncan was dominating him on both sides of the floor. And don't forget to look at Phoenix's record against the rest of the West's elite teams(Jazz, Mavericks, Rockets). The Suns should feel fortunate that they are likely getting the Lakers in the first round, and even then I ca see Kobe and co. pulling off the upset. All in all, the Suns are the most entertaining regular season team, but come playoff time, they won't be able to match up well against the true elite teams.

where the suns lack in defense and rebounding they make up in speed,passing,shooting,free throws,3pt, and lack of turn overs.
i agree defense wins in the playoffs but people here saying they have no shot is absurd. the suns tend to go on runs every game no matter how far they are down you can never count them out.
hell the spurs held them to 32% shooting and the suns still made a run to make a 20 pt game to a 2 pt game.
and they have made the western conference finals recently so to say they arent a playoff team is just a joke
fact is when the suns are on their game, they are unstoppable and with stoudamire back and healthy there is no telling how far they can go.
with that said im still going with the spurs but i wouldnt be surprised if the suns win it all
