Question:I was watching Clippers vs Lakers and Kobe dropped 50 but the lakers lost.
Am i the only person who think if he gets 30 and parker and odom get 15-25 they have a better chance of winning then Kobe dropping 50?

Well...yes and no. Odom and Parker could score 15-25 points, but it's all about them shooting a high percentage. If they aren't doing well offensively, I'm fine with Kobe scoring 50. It all depends on how Kobe's teammates are playing, if they aren't getting the job done on offense, I feel Kobe should take over.I also watched the game and thought Kobe played extremely well. However he put way too much pressure on himself in the 4th quarter and he should've got his teammates more involved. He struggled in the 4th and felt he should've drove more to the lane and dished out to Parker or Walton for open shots. But again, it would be good to see some balanced scoring, it all depends on the performance of Kobe's teammates. The main factor in the game however, wasn't about their scoring, it was about their defense. The Lakers had a 17 point lead and gave it away. Right now they have way too many defensive lapses and turn the defense switch on and off. At times they can play great team defense, but they slacked in the 4th.
So what I'm trying to say that you do have a good point on Kobe scoring less, depending on how well his teammates are doing. However, I feel that their scoring is the least of their problems. It's their defense they need help on! Hope this helped.

Kobe had no choice. Luke Walton played like he was adopted by Bill Walton. Lamar Odom was a complete no-show (again), and do the Lakers even have a big man? Someone who actually owns the paint? Oh, wait, he plays for Miami. It was so bad that I think I saw Ronny Turiaf shoot a 3 pointer near the end. Andrew Bynum looks lost. If Kobe had any help whatsoever he would be considered an MVP candidate.The NBA playoffs are coming!!!?
It is imperative for Kobe to give a strong performance night in and night out. The LA Lakers are a young team and are VERY dependent on Kobe to bring them wins. If Kobe is not healthy, the Lakers struggle and lose most of the games without him. With Kobe around, they know that they will benefit from his performance.I think Kobe knows that the only way for him to make a lasting impact on the team is by scoring in bunches. Kobe also plays defense, and he also has his fair share of assists. I think if the Lakers can only get Odom and the rest to score more, then the Lakers can win more games, the problem is not Kobe, it's the players around him. Give them a couple of more seasons and they will develop into an elite NBA team.
