What is a bigger disgrace? Steve Nash not winning the MVP or Stoudamire getting suspended?
I'm not a Sun's fan and in fact I think the NBA is pathetic. That being said. . which is a bigger disgrace? Nowitzke winning the MVP was just a popularity contest. He was a total wimp in the playoffs both on and off the court. Sure. . he is a great player but to give him the MVP and say he was more valuable than Nash is a DISGRACE. Now. . to Stoudamire. The NBA needs to pull their heads out of their butts and wake up! TIM DUNCAN left the bench earlier in a less heated situation. SHouldn't he be suspended.? Horry took a totally cheap shot and the spineless NBA didn't have to BALLS to do what's right. The NBA is a total joke! THe officials are more useless than wrestling officials. They players are allowed to travel, palm the ball, and basically foul on every play! Then. . in the last two minutes the officials decide the game. The NBA has deteriorated to a bunch of ghetto thug scumbuckets! FOr SHAME FOR SHAME FOR SHAME!

Im not a big fan of Steve Nash, but Dirk shouldnt of won either. The biggest surprise to me was Stoudamire getting suspended. He didnt even do anything wrong. All he did was get up and walk to where the situation was heating up. He didnt even get close enough, or do anything in that matter, to do any damage. The MVP is a regular season award and the votes were already in before Dirk choked against the Warriors. At the time the Mavericks had just finished an amazing season and Dirk was their best player. So I don't think you can blame them for giving him the MVP award.I agree that it is retarded that Amare was suspended, while Duncan was not for doing the exact same thing.

They are both a disgrace!! Steve Nash was the most consistent during the season and he's still playing great in the playoffs. Nowitzki is sitting on his butt laughing that stoudemire and diaw go suspended. This is pathetic and is one of the reasons why I've slowly stopped watching the NBA. Sit and watch a game and see how many travels you can count. Lebron James takes 3 steps almost every dunk/layup. It's pathetic and if he stands there with the ball he usually switches pivot foots or moves his feet. So obvious and this $hit never gets called. I think I'm finally fed up with the NBA and I'll stop watching for now on. After the Suns getting screwed over like that I just don't think its worth watching. the league had no recourse but to suspend Amare, beacuse of the suspensions handed out in the past (patrick ewing got suspended for stepping two feet from the bench as did 4 other knicks )... although no one is crazy about the fact that while Dirk led his team to a huge season record, he also led his team to the tank in the playoffs ...but that voting is done before the playoffs start, they should just announce it before the playoffs get going...I think the Stoudemire and Diaw is more disgraceful because it ruins what could of been one of the greatest series in nba history.
It sets a worse precedent in my opinion by suspending these players because now all you have to do is send out a scrub player and start a fight by the opponents bench and you can get some of their best players suspended. Lets face it too theres not much space between the bench and the court so if a player just stands up hes on the court.
Oh and to the guy above me that says its a rule and he has no choice but to enforce it? Please explain to me how Bruce Bowen's knee to Nash's groin was a basketball move?? According to the rules and precedent he should of got suspended. Kobe got suspended, why not Bowen?
I was a huge nba fan and now I have no desire to watch the rest of the series(or even the rest of the playoffs). Stern just forced a Jazz/Spurs western conference finals then will force a Pistons/Spurs finals on us. and he wonders why nba ratings are at all time lows..
