Who performed better in the NBA FINALS, Dwyane Wade or Kobe Bryant (the BIG STAGE)?
Question:I can't see how people say that Kobe is better then Wade. Kobe's been in 4 finals and has never one finals mvp or put on a nba finals performance that's gonna be remember for ages. Check this out:
2006 NBA FINALS:
Dwyane Wade:
34.7 ppg, 3.8 apg, 7.8 rpg, 2.67 spg, 1.0 bpg, & 46.8 fg%
He got awarded NBA FINALS MVP
He got awarded 2006 SI Sportsman of the Year
He got awarded 2006 ESPY's Best Basketball Player Award
He had a big game 3 come back that saved the entire series.
Anyways, Kobe have never done anything in the NBA FINALS that impressive.and I don't want to hear the excuse that Wade had Shaq because Kobe had Shaq too.
KOBE BRYANT SUCKS!

Who thinks the spurs are going to win tonight?
i go with Wade...Last playoff comeback was AMAZING!What city is golden state warriors?what city do thay repersent?
IT SEEMS YOU ANSWERED YOUR OWN QUESTION...Clippers, Golden State, #8 spot?
dude, you talk about kobe wayyyy too much.Which Do You Prefer-College Basketball or the NBA?
pointless to askWarriors or CLippers.Who would you rather see in the playoffs?
Maybe because Shaq was flat out dominating with Kobe so Kobe couldn't/have to take over while Wade needed to carry the heat in at least one game since Shaq is/was older and lost a few steps in his game. I am not saying Kobe has done more but just said a possible reason to why he didn't/hasn't.Has anyone tried the workout programs that increase your vertical leap?
lol that was last year.if you were a kobe fan, i bet you will say
2000-2003 CHAMPIONSHIP?
how much does wade have? 1 championship.
you dnot see me listing kobe's stats when he won championship.
and when wade wins it, you go blabbling.
and wait* looks innocent* didnt the heat get swept?
dumass u suck.

April 14, 2006: With his 50 points against Portland, Kobe reached 2,754 and broke the franchise record of 2,719 points in one season set by Elgin Baylor in 1962-63. (Kobe ended the season with a Lakers record of 2832 points)

March 3, 2006: Despite playing with a sinus infection, Kobe Bryant scored 42 points in the Lakers victory 106-94 over Golden State and became the youngest player to score 16,000 points. He did it being 27 years and 192 days old, four days younger than Wilt Chamberlain when he reached that mark in 1964.

February 27, 2006: Kobe Bryant will be the centerpiece of the new USA Basketball Team. Kobe and the other players that accepted the invitation, made a commitment until the 2008 Olympic Games.
***
February 19, 2006: Kobe Bryant had a very good performance in the 2006 All-Star Game. He ended with 8 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and led all players with 8 assists while clearly trying to get Tracy McGrady the MVP. His last 4 points tied the game at 120 but T-Mac (36 points) missed the potential winning 3-pointer, Kobe couldn't control the rebound and the East won 122-120. Lebron James, who was the MVP with 29 points and 6 rebounds, led the East comeback from a 21-point deficit.

January 22, 2006: It was developing into an excellent scoring season for Kobe but it reached its peak against the Raptors at L.A. Kobe Bryant scored 81 points, the second-best in NBA history, trailing only the famous 100-point game of Wilt Chamberlain. In the same game kobe set a Laker record of 55 points in a half, and by missing a free throw he ended his streak of 62 consecutive free throws, also a franchise best. For most players, a 60-point performance is a one-in-a-career achievement but Kobe became one of 4 players in NBA history to score 60 or more points at least twice. Wilt Chamberlain did it an incredible 32 times, Michael Jordan 5 times, Elgin Baylor did it 4 times and Kobe 2 times.
***
January 9, 2006: The Lakers defeated the Pacers 96-90 and Kobe Bryant, with his 45 points, became the first NBA player since Wilt Chamberlain in 1964 to score at least 45 points in four straight games (1/7 Clippers 50 points, 1/6 76ers 48 points and 12/28 Grizzlies 45 points). The only other player with such a streak was Elgin Baylor. Great scorers like Michael Jordan or Abdul-Jabbar never accomplished that feat.
***
December 21, 2006: Kobe Bryant scored a career-high 62 points in just 3 quarters and then sat to enjoy the rest of the game. At the end of the third quarter, where kobe scored a franchise-record and league 4th best 30 points, the Lakers were up by 34 and Kobe was defeating the Dallas Mavericks by himself 62-61.

With his 1819 points in the 2004-2005 Season, Kobe reached the career total of 14034 and moved from the 9th place to the 6th in the list of the Lakers historical leaders in points, surpassing Byron Scott, Gail Goodrich and... Shaquille O'Neal (13895)
***
April 20, 2005: With his 37 points against the Trail Blazers in the final game of the Lakers' season, Kobe Bryant became the 15th player to reach 14,000 points, and the youngest of them. He did it with 26 years and 240 days, while Michael Jordan reached 14,000 at 27 years, 68 days.

July 15, 2004: Kobe Bryant re-signed the Lakers. He accepted a 7-year contract worth 136.4 million.

Kobe Bryant picture Mar 28, 2003: In the game where everybody was expecting to be amazed by Michael Jordan one last time Kobe had other plans... He scored 55 points, the most in the NBA in that 2002-03 season until that moment, as the Lakers defeated the Wizards 108-94 at Staples Center. Kobe scored 42 in the first half, breaking the team record of 37 points in a half, set by Elgin Baylor against the New York Knicks 32 years before (Nov. 15, 1960). In that half Kobe made 8 three-pointers and 14 of 19 field-goal attempts. The 8 three-pointer tied a league record, set by Milwaukee's Tim Thomas two seasons before, and tied by teammates Michael Redd and Ray Allen in the 2001-02 season.

2/25/03: One of the greatest scoring streaks in NBA history came to an end... Kobe Bryant settled for 32 points, failing to reach 40 for the first time in 10 games and failing to reach 35 for the first time in 14 contests... With his remarkable streak of scoring -- at least 40 points in 9 straight games-- Bryant equaled the best such streak of Michael Jordan, who did so early in the 1986-87 season... The only player with longer streaks of 40 or more points is Wilt Chamberlain. The NBA's fourth-leading career scorer, Chamberlain accomplished the feat in 14 straight games twice in the 1961-62 season and in 10 straight the following season... Bryant also scored at least 35 points in 13 consecutive games. Again, Chamberlain is the only player ahead of him in that department, having accomplished that feat in 33, 23 and 20 straight games...

3/5/03: In the third quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers' 97-95 victory over the Indiana Pacers, Kobe Bryant reached 10,000 points for his career, making him the youngest player in NBA history to reach that plateau.
***
2/18/03: Kobe reached the 40-point mark for the sixth straight game and has at least 35 points in his last 10 - both franchise records.
***
1/24/03: For the first time in his career Kobe received the most votes in NBA All-Star Balloting that determines starters for the 2003 NBA All-Star Game at Atlanta’s Philips Arena on Sunday, February 9. Bryant received 1,474,386 votes out of the more than 4.5 million ballots cast.
***
1/7/03: Kobe Bryant set two NBA records with his outside shooting: After missing his first attempt from the arc, Bryant made 9 straight to break the single-game record for consecutive 3-pointers. With 6:58 remaining, Bryant sank his 12th 3-pointer --in 18 attempts overall-- breaking the one-game mark for 3-pointers made. Kobe scored 45 points and the Lakers defeated the Seattle Supersonics 119-98.

In games Nov. 1 and Nov. 3, G Kobe Bryant became the first Laker player to accomplish back-to-back triple-doubles since Hall of Famer Magic Johnson did so in March 1991.
In the end, how much money did the New York Knicks pay Allan Houston after he retired?
dude. dwyane had his friggin' suck up refs. and kobe's first time, he was what, 21?22? plus, shaq was in his prime. shaq was already deferring to wade when they won it.I bet half of yall talking bout the mavs are from dallas!!?
Wade had Shaq when he was 4 years past his prime and not very good, Kobe gave up the ball to Shaq, and Shaq did his thing, Shaq couldn't carry the Heat by himself, so their other superstar, D-Wade, took over. Dwayne Wade is not as good as Kobe Bryant right now, I doubt he ever will be, but I can't see the future. Dwayne Wade is extremely talented, and he is one of the best in the league right now, but Kobe has already proved himself.Kobe has had great performances in the finals as evidence in their first championship run in the finals vs. the Pacers. Another was was Game 2 of 2004 finals vs. the Pistons even though the Lakers eventually lost 4-1.They lost because lack of team chemistry and most people seem to blame it ALL on Kobe, but you have to give blame to the other 3 superstars (shaq, malone, payton). But that single game they won was because of Kobe.
Lets just say Kobe was Robin and Shaq was Batman back in the days and played in Shaq shadows until sadly both got into arguements about the leader of the team. And i would like to say that D-wade has post-prime Shaq while Kobe had Shaq in his prime in which Shaq was unstoppable, but present-Shaq shows only flashes of his prime. Kobe didnt need to do as much when he had Shaq.
But i do agree with you that Wade played better in the finals , (but you have to consider he played in only one finals and Wade is the leader while Shaq plays 2nd option like in the Shaq-Kobe era), but still Wade is not better than Kobe, and you saying Kobe sucks makes no sense. Kobe has proved himself already to many times even in the Shaq-Kobe era.
Who are all the brothers in the NBA. I know Jarrod and Jason Collins are brothers but who else.?
i am no kobe fan..but he does have 3 rings..So what's all this talk about the Pistons winning the Championship this year?
Ouch!..KB #1 F@cked you up!....and Kobes teams were so Dominant(15 - 1 on the big stage)...he was resting in the 4th quarter..lol..his Laker teams were some of the best ever...D - Wade got swept!...to easy!..and all the stuff Kobe has done...he's only a couple years older then Wade!(25yrs old!)..your so stupid it's comedy!Anybody out there who knows Vidal Massiah??
I can't even listen 2 u. You say D - Wade is better cause he won an ESPY. Now that's just stupid.First u are dumb as hell. 1 little reason why he did not win MVP any of those was that SHAQ was in his prime. Considering he is one of the best centers ever, its kind of hard to beat him out. K, Wade is a great player but has only proved himself in one final. Kobe has produced big in their 3 Championships and their one championship loss. Last thing, what Wade's career high, not 81 exactly.
Utah and San Antonio, whos gonna win the series?
Wade 4 Sure! Shaq Carried That Bitchz (Kobe) On His Back To 3 Championships.Kobe Is A Fuckn Ballhog SOB That No One Wants Him To Be His Team mate.Fuckk All You KOBE "SUCKZ" FANS..Can Nash and the suns win a championship without playing acceptable defense?
Maybe it's because Shaq only averaged like 10 points when Wade won it fahg. Ya it does matter dickfuck, Cuz Kobe's way better. I'm sick of this stupid comparison between wade and bryant, because Bryant's way better. Wade plays on a team where he's the only one that can decently score, unlike Kobe's team when he had Shaq. and those stupid Espy SI's dont matter idiot, ur just a stupid wade fan that doesn't have a life so you make these stupid comparisons. Accept that Kobe is the best player in the league right now, Would win MVP if he had a decent team behind him, and is better than MJ.More Questions & Answers...
