Remember, Shaq was upset with Nowitzki saying that the Mavs gave the championship to the Heat, and he and Wade said Nowitzki should've been a better leader. My point is that he probably didn't want to say Dirk deserved it. This might be a stretch, but Nash beat out Shaq for MVP three seasons ago. Bitter feelings maybe? That leaves Kobe, who happened to have a phenomenal season.
