Similarity between Ben Wallace & Dennis Rodman?...?
Question:Think about it...
In the Late 80's, the Detroit Pistons (Isaiah Thomas, Joe Dumars, Dennis Rodman) had a heated rivalry with the Chicago Bulls (Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, John Paxon.)
The Bulls had to win a series against the expected Pistons in order to go to the Finals. They were in this situation numerous times before, but that year it they won. This led to Chicago winning three rings in a row. When this happened, the Pistons walked out of the arena w/o shaking hands w/ Chicago.
When Dennis Rodman was traded to the Bulls, they went on yet another three-peat.
What if the Bulls wouldn't have went on the first championship streak? That would mean the Bulls would never have beat the Pistons until they aquired Dennis Rodman!
The current series in 2007 would be an exact de ja vu. If it is, the Bulls could beat the Pistons for years to come.
Will this rivalry EVER end?

MVP defined... best player or most important to their team?
Both are great players, but I would take Rodman on my team over Wallace any day. Rodman battled for boards against guys who are bigger than Wallace. Rodman had the sneaky passes, and he had a fairly solid mid range shot when people didn't respect him. And the intangible? Rodman's pure freakiness gave him a mental edge against his opponents. They'd be like, "There's no way this dude who wore a wedding dress can beat me." And then he beat them. Rodman's story on getting into the league was heartlifting too.I see the similarities man, but the question is... can the Bulls beat the Pistons? I don't think so, but we'll have to wait and see. Anything can happen. It's why you play for 48 minutes. Look at the Warriors and their story.
