She is coming out of school when she graduates. There is not enough money in women's basketball to entice most players to leave school early. Candance Parker is a talent, but there are other great players in the WNBA. I hate to admit it but the WNBA is not that entertaining. The level of competition should be much higher at the pro level than college. Unfortunately, there are too many easy shots missed, etc. The product and I love sports, so it hurts me to say this, is pathetic. I have zero interest in it.Raptors Win! Raptors Win! Raptors Win!?

If you had a son who wanted to go to a NBA game, you'd probably take him if you had the time and money, but what if over 50% of the NBA players were homosexuals? I guarantee you would try to get him to pick other players in different sports to idolize. Go to an NBA game. Theres plenty of kids there. If they couldnt reach out to these kids, teens, and even some adults, they would have no market. They didnt sell tickets or merch, they cant pay the players. When you cant pay an NBA player more than he can make, say, going out and working at McDonalds, which is what the womens game is coming to, then they are gonna go and take that free education and actually get themselves a job that pays.For the womens game, their only hope is reaching out to the younger females. Parents dont want their little girls role model to be a lesbian, for fear of them turning out the same way. There werent so many lesbians, more parents would pay to get tickets and take their kids to a WNBA game. Theyd buy them jerseys, rugs, towels, balls, and whatever else can have a teams logo. Also, a little more flash would give them a boost no matter if 100% were lesbians. I'm not being homophobic or mean to gays, I'm stating pure facts, and thats what you wanted, was a factual answer. I just thought I'd say that before everyone gave me a thumbs down.

Candace Parker was academically eligible to enter the WNBA draft this year, but she will stay one more year at Tennessee to complete her degree.Whichever team gets her in the 2008 draft is an instant championship contender.
She's not like a Kobe Bryant or anything, but when she dunks it's worth watching. This might bring about 1,000 more fans to the arena... which is huge.

I think there is no need for Parker to be dunking in a game. I know for a fact that there are other girls who can dunk, but they chose not to show off in a game.
