Was the suspension on Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw fair or no?
The incident was instigated by Robert Horry. Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw did not throw elbows or even words. Also Boris Diaw retrieved earlier than Amare Stoudemire. You have also had instaces of hard fouls that was committed by Baron Davis and Richardson that did not warrant a suspension. So why was Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw fouled?

What is the font for the Golden State Warriors uniforms?
I do not think so. The NBA needs to consider the issue of the spur of the moment. Their rules seem to reflect that players will always be in a cool moment yet excluding the aspect of provaction. Is there a web-site that shows all Former San Antonio Spurs Players?
honestly this question is getting old there are many other questions under basketball with the same basic idea so stop asking the same thing! And no, it is unfair, but I will not explain myself again I already answered another question like this
NO! Tthere is a double standard in the NBA sometimes. The rule basically says that a player on the bench can't leave the vicinity of the bench during an altercation. There are 2 very vague words here... vicinity and altercation. Both leave a lot of room for interpretation and the imposing of double standards. They say that Stoudemire was 20' away but the rule doesn't state an exact distance. Duncan & Bowen only walked a couple steps. Also, they say that what Duncan & Bowen reacted to wasn't an altercation because the 2 involed just walked away. This is the double standard... they have decided to see it that way for whatever reason. This is not fair and I hope someone is arguing this to the Stern as we speak.
Last I heard Chris Herren was playing basketball over in Iran. Does anyone know where he is now?
Of course it wasn't fair. Even Stu Jackson who made the decision admitted that it wasn't fair. ""It's not a matter of fairness, it's a matter of correctness, and this is the right decision at this point in time." What a douchebag! Will Barkley ever let Wade into his 5?
Mindless rules, mindless results.amare and diaw broke the law of the land.
sucks, but it happened.
Now their team will have to pay for it.
over this subjectttt
jrich should have gotten suspended.. or at least fined
The suspensions are stupid, if the league is going to suspend Amare and Diaw, they should be fair and suspend Duncan and Bowen since they too left the bench during the game. In the second quarter they got up after Francisco Elson and James Jones were entangled. Duncan was clearly on the floor and Bowen came to take him back to the bench. Most likely because Duncan thought there was going to be an altercation, and even though there wasn't Amare and Diaw never got invovled in the Nash/Horry altercation either. So if the league is as strict as they say they are about this rule, they should be fair and suspend Duncan and Bowen. It is stupid that they are punishing a team that has played fair, and rewarding a team that plays dirty. Horry's foul on Nash just proves what kind of team the Spurs really are. Steve Kerr knows what he is talking about and I agree with him 100% on this.
What's going on in the playoffs?
from what I saw on the replay Stoudamire was way further out on the court than Diaw. Stoudamire by rule should be suspended, Diaw not so sureIs Kobe Bryant the Paris Hilton of Basketball?
Of course it's fairwould be unfair if they weren't suspended to all the other players suspended for the same thing
This is how the rule has always been enforced and they stayed consistent as expected
What can the femate basketball team at Rutgers do to win the championship next year?
Because some body wants to make sure the Suns don't win this series and there doing a damn good job. In the same game that Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw are being reprimanded for two of the Spurs players (Tim Duncan and Bruce Bowen) did the EXACT same thing and they still get to play in game 5. Did anybody else see that in game 4 the Suns kept getting fouled and the referee might as well had put a sign on there foreheads that said "oh well".not fair. but then if they suspend duncan and bowen, then i'd be a happy girl.
