Yes Dirk will still win the MVP. Voting for MVP starts before the playoffs. He is a very good player and had a terrible game 6 against the Warriors. Hmmmm maybe Baron Davis should be MVP...I think its safe to say THAT..?
I think he will because he played great in the regular season, but Steve Nash has played better in the playoffs and he is right behind Dirk.He'll win it and it will be a disgrace, he doesn't deserve MVP. So what if he had a great regular season, when it mattered the most Dirk folded again. He has no mental toughness and he's not a true leader.
The MVP award has nothing to do w/ the playoffs. What you say is true though his whole team is good and he doesn't make the same plays Nash does. Nash makes Every one around him better even if that player was good to begin with. But i do like Dirk i hope Nash wins but as long as it's not Kobe. They could vote any one MVP before Kobe. Yea, Dirk will probably win it but I think Nash should get it with Kobe & LeBron right behind him in voting. I think if you take Dirk away from Dallas, they are still a solid club that should make the playoffs.
