This shows that the NBA needs to revisit the rule for suspensions. There was really no altercation on the court. Horry placed a hard foul on Nash, the refs called it a flagrant, but no one from the bench got involved in it. You should only get suspended if you get involved. He is basically saying that if you try to take someone out with a dirty play he will punish the other team for standing up for his teamate even if they don,t throw a punch. The NBA needs to ammend their rules relating to the suspensions on Stoudamire and Diaw. The essence of the rules is to stop players jumping off the bench and fuelling fights and altercations. Diaw and Stoudamire were caught up in the moment of the game and unknowingly stepped onto the court but when they realised what they were doing they immediately tried to return to the bench. Now Horry and the Spurs are the winners even though they're are the intitial provokers of the siutation. How the hell is that fair! The NBA is practically rewarding Horry and the Spurs by suspending two critical Suns players. I think it was unfair and I also think Robert Horry got of too easy...only two game suspension? I think that the reason that Stoudemire and Diaw were suspended though because the commish could have thought they were going to fight.
