What kind of changes should the Rockets make?

But, everyone could use some changes. So, here goes:
1. Cut the dead weight - namely Bonzi Wells, and eventually Juwon Howard, if not now. Start replacing the old-timers with younger guys.
2. Give guys like Spanoulis and Steve Novak more minutes next year. Lack of depth hurt them against Utah.
3. Beg, or demand Shane Battier to shoot more
4. Draft, sign, or trade for one or two big bodies. Mutombo and Howard will need replaced.
5. I don't know that I'd replace Rafer Alston. It's true he can't shoot a lick, but he's a good on-the-ball defender and he keeps the turnovers down for the most part. But I would look to reduce his responsibilities. The longer he's on the court, the more missed perimeter shots you'll have. They could play Luthur Head, John Lucas, and Spanoulis more at the point, and knock Alston's minutes down to the 20 to 25 range.
