A Trading Block is where players who are to be traded are put. For example, DAL doesn't want Dirk on their team, so they put him in the Trading Block. They wait for offers from another team. If DAL agrees to an offer, then Dirk is traded. If no offers seem to interest dal for a long time, then DAL removes dirk from the trading block
