Do you think the mavs-warriors series was fixed as a present to nellie?
It's just hard to believe that the jazz could beat the warriors so easily when the mavs never even showed up when they played the warriors, except for a few quarters. People keep blaming it on matchups, but champions are suppossed to be ready no matter what, because in the playoffs, heart and experience matters a lot more than matchups or talent. The jazz are much slower than the mavs and also got blown out by the warriors in their last regular season meeting, so they should have matched up even worse against the warriors.

the jazz were playing like crap against everybody in the last few weeks of the season so that doesn't mean much of anything. The jazz are slower than the mavs because that's their game they were running with the warriors in game 1 and still ended up winning. they can run and gun but play better in a slower temp game. the thing is golden st isn't deep at all. they didn't have anyone to get boards for them and with ak-47 playing better that helps too. dallas definitely didn't hand them the series intentionally no one especially mark cuban would ever do that. nellie just outcoached averyDo you think this trade is realistic?
I bet you it was some how I doubt that the Dallas Mavericks would lose so easily to a #8 seed especially the Warriors because I don't think Dallas got to 67 wins by being soft Nellie did not out Coach Avery Johnson because like he said he was his mentor and if he really was his mentor wouldn't Avery know how to stop him? Ask yourself that and Dirk never had a bad shooting game ever in his carrer and all of a sudden he's shooting 29% from the floor? Since when? The AMvericks threw that game on purpose is the Warriors had not been in the Playoffs, don't you think the Mavs would be in the Semi-Finals by now am I right or wrong? Nothing in the NBA is fixed, why would you even think that?Perhaps it's because Nelly was the coach of that whole Mavs squad for the first seven years of its existance, and because of that he has extensive insider information about every single guy they matched up against.
Perhaps it's because the Mavs were overconfident coming off a great season and were rusty because Avery rested the whole starting squad for the last week or two of the regular season, instead of working on their chemistry and keeping them sharp.
Perhaps it's because having a 7 footer who shoots the 3 ball isn't as good against Golden State as having a true center who dominates the paint and keeps Nelly's small-ball from having any rebounds.
Perhaps it's because of Cuban, as Trump suggested. Perhaps he's a loser and the Mavs will never be winners with him pretending like he knows anything about basketball and wanting to be a player himself. Perhaps the pressure he put on all his players to be winners crushed them.
Either way, the GS Warriors beat the Mavs with great basketball. Basketball that they did not play as well in Round 2. They attempted way more threes and made way less of them overall.
Also, the Jazz hardly beat the Warriors "so easily". The first two games were extremely tight, and if it wasn't for the whole GS squad melting-down in more than one game in this series and losing faith in themselves and pushing blame on the refs, they would have had a better showing.
I dunno but I guess if ANY team outrebounds you by double and shoots 20% better than you from the field they will probably win.
I don't think it was fixed the warriors just outplayed the overated mavs. It was good to see mark cuban walk off the court like a crying littel baby.

As a Mavs fan, the game was not fixed.I think alot of it has to do with the fact that Don Nelson was the coach here for a while. He knows a majority of these players and he was Head Coach while Avery was still an Assistant Coach. The Warriors were the only team all season to truly understand how to play the Mavericks, and get them off their game. If they had any other coach, they would have lost that series in at most 5 games.

Ok lets lay out facts. Fact...our top scorer played like garbage the entire series. Fact.we psyched ourselves out by not trying to win the last regular season game against GS especially havin not won against them for what seems like forever. Fact.there were matchup issues that werent resolved (that champion bs is stupid, if multiple people are smotherin your *** youre gonna have problems no matter who you are.) Fact...NELLIE KNOWS US!!! you cant have someone coach a good chunk of your team for a bagillion years and then have to play against him. Not to mention offensively AJ learned a shat load from Nellie meaning Nellie knew what we were gonna do. Defensively we have no excuse for why in the name of all that is holy were we playin zone when Baron wasnt in the game letting 3 ball after 3 ball fly into the basket. Truth is Nellie knew us just as well as we knew ourselves and used it for his advantage. The one team we couldnt afford to play we had to play first round.
