Was David Stern right to suspend Joey Crawford?
Before I answer your question, I'd just like to clarify something.People are saying, "If the Warriors can beat the #1 seed, who can't they beat?" I assume they're implying that the Warriors can take it all the way to the Finals just because they beat the Numero Uno seed.
To those asking the question "Who can't the Warriors take?", also ask yourself if the Warriors beat the "Number One" seat Mavs, or just the crappy-playing Mavs?? They beat the crappy playing Mavs, the Mavs were not playing like a #1 seed team in that series, and that's why Dallas isn't watching the playoffs anymore.
And that's why the Golden State vs. Houston/Utah series isn't the number one on my list. Here's my opinion:
1. Suns v. Spurs -- two of the best teams in the league, the two teams with the league's best lineup (good player chemistry for both teams). It's like placing two atomic bombs side-by-side. I'm expecting a Game Seven.
2. Warriors v. Rockets/Jazz(?) -- the Warriors will play like crazy, even if they get defeated 4-0, they'll play like crazy. It's like Golden State is a guy on a treadmill who doesn't know he's in a treadmill, and he's trying to chase a thief who's getting away. Basically, they're not going to the finals (and I think they accept that) but they are confident they'll make a good run.
3. Nets v. Cavs -- LeBron v. Vince Carter. Let's see what these dunkamaniacs can do.
4. Pistons v. Bulls -- ..yawn.. Sure, Ben Wallace will be playing against his former teammates, but they're going to get smoked. Has anyone seen game one today?? hah..
Ultimately, I think the Western Conffy's bet for the Finals would be the winner of the Suns/Spurs series. =)
KObe id the next MVP is wat i think wat do u think?? =D?
warriors- die hard warriors fan for yearssuns/spurs- gonna be interesting, pure offense vs pure defense
nets/cleveland- king james vs the triple double machine
detroit/bulls- detroit is going to school them
Do u think wat don imus said abt the basketball team appropiate. and wats ur opinion on it?
1. Warriors, because I wanna se how far they're gonna go. Prolly pretty far, because if they can take this #1 seed, who cant they take? I think they could take Houston in 7, because Houston is just way to good at home, they can close out the series. Warriors in 72. Suns and Spurs, because I think this is prolly the game of two of the deepest teams in the playoffs. I cant wait to see Nash square it off with Parker, and then Stoudamire and Duncan. Its going to be the flashy suns with the pretty subtle spurs. Suns in 7
3. Nets and Cleveland, because Lebron is gonna light em up, but the three Nets will be fun to watch. Jefferson, Kidd, and Carter, with all three tearing up a relatively weak defense. Im curious to see how the bigs from each team will do, if Mikki Moore can keep up this career year and if Ilgauskus can keep up with him, because Ilgauskus just doesnt have what it takes. Cavs in 7
4. Detroit/bulls: Bulls got killed. They probably will get killed for the rest of the series. They could steal a game or two with their depth. Bulls in 6
I think it'll be suns and warriors, and then pistons and Cavs
Suns over Pistons in seven in the finals.
Who do u think that will win the nba playoffs?
Warriors vs. ?- 7/10. This series is going to be exciting to fans of the Warriors and NBA fans. Sadly, some sore Maverick fans will not even watch the playoffs no more.Nets vs. Cleveland- 5/10. It's like a repeat of last year. Some wild LB fans will be watching every moment of this game however.
Suns vs. Spurs- 6/10. Both good teams, a matchup we'd expect in the West. Steve Nash(more than likely MVP), will be the starchild of the series though.
Detroit vs. Bulls-2/10. We already know who's going to win. Not really fun to watch.
How does allen iverson get to the basket so much? And if you know can you tell me how I can too?
1. Suns/Spurs (Peoples champ/the Leagues golden boy ( Duncan)2. Pistons/Bulls ( Kinda bias cause im the #1 Pistons fan)
3. Nets/ Cav's ( Exciting star studded game, alot of action)
4. Warriors series ( I just find Utah and Houston Boring)
suns/spurs----suns
warriors/? (houston)----warriors
and who cares after that.
i have got to admit watching the warriors series is almost as exciting as watching the phoenix suns. davis is way under-rated.
much love for golden state
Does Yao Ming even know what he is doing or is he just playing basketball because he is tall??
Warriors in 4nets in 6
suns in 7
detroit in 4
NETS ALL THE WAY!!
Gotta ditto" the pheonix".except Spurs/Suns winner) Have to get outa west to see who will fall from East in the Championship. Spurs all the way for 4th title.
1- 4
2-0
3-4
4-2
If you had to have 1 person taking a 3 with time running out who would it be?
1. suns/spurs (two completely different types of plays)2. pistons/bulls (b.wallace vs his old team)
3. nets/cavs (let's see what lebron can do by himself)
4. warriors/? (don't know who's gonna win yet)
1.suns/spurs - this will be the best of the 2nd round series
2.detroit/bulls - this series comes in a close 2nd to Spurs/Suns. Plus I'm a die hard pistons fan so I'm definitely into this series.
3.warriors series - can't wait to see if the warriors can get to the conference finals
4.nets/cleveland - I'm not interested in this series at all
What does it mean to lose homecourt advantage?
Im going to rank mine on a 1-10 system...1. Bulls/Pistons. (rating: 9): if the games arn't like the first, it will be by far the most interesting series...I want to see Ben CRUSH these losers.
2. Suns/Spurs. (Rating: 8.8): Offense Vs. Defense...Defense wins championships...But can this offense overpower them?
3. Warriors/TBA. (rating: 6.3): I just want to see the warriors crushed, destroyed, mutilated and burned. So i'll enjoy watching them get swept...and Swept bad...Im hoping 20-30 point deficits each game =)
4. Nets/Cavs. (rating: 6): Dont get me wrong, I like both teams...But thats just the problem..It is boring watching two teams you like, because you wont be on the edge of your seat like you would during a game were you liked one team and hated the other...In this game i might clap if a three is scored...In the Dallas/GSW series i would jump out of my seat and yell everytime Dallas made a three-pointer, lol..
Rule on taking ball out and passing to teammate out of bounds in basketball?
(1) Suns-Spurs: I'm curious to know if the suns can be beaten at all, now that amare's back. They have matured a lot since losing to this spurs team 4-1 two years ago. And if there's a team that can possibly disrupt the run and gun, that would be the spurs. My pick; Suns in 6(2) Cavs-Nets: Lebron has proved that he has what it takes to be a legend in the playoffs. Barely reaching the east finals last year due to a 4-3 loss to detroit, he is hungry for revenge and for a third round berth. My pick; Cavs in 5
(3) Warriors-Jazz: It seems that this was the year that the warriors were reborn. The big indiana trade payed off big time and reulted in a birth of a potential powerhouse. With the season series tied, this will be close. My pick; Warriors in 6/7
(4)Pistons-Bulls: It'll be interesting how big ben will lead a bulls team against his former team. With so many great match ups; wallace-webber, prince-deng, hinrich-billups fans of both teams will be treated to a start of a rivalry. My pick; Pistons in 7
I sure hope that the second round will feature more game 7 classics... Suns and Cavs in finals with the suns winning in 6 games.
