Does Stern love his spurs?
Question:Ok, so we all know about the dumb suspensions against the suns because of horry's idiotic behavior. We all know stern says it is a black and white rule, and there is no room for common sense. But look at this article - http://espn.go.com/nba/news/2002/1028/14...
That is a good example to when he made an exception to the rule. So really, why couldn't look at the suns and see they didn't get into a fight, and not suspend them because of cheap shot bob? Well, I think Stern loves his spurs is why.

Is is me? Or do the NBA Spurs cry alot? I mean every call there goes Duncan crying like a baby?
That was four years ago, they have been stricter on fights since the Ron artest incident. There is room for common sense, common sense says don't leave the bench it is against the rules. Since Stu Jackson became the Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations for the NBA, a league official whose duties include penalizing players for on-court misconduct. He has been very strict when it comes to enforcing the rules. So your initial question is inaccurate, if any one loves the spurs it would be Stu.Plus the spurs-pistons series a couple of years ago was one the lowest rated finals in a long time, i seriously doubt stern wants a finals people didn't watch the first time and probably wont watch again
What are Golden State's chances against Dallas?
no they are crapDan Druff - can Bynum develop into a good enough center for Kobe to ride to another championship?
stern is crap.Who thinks Mehemet Okur looks dumb?
first of all i bet stern would rather have the suns play the finals than the spurs because the spurs are boring. Second if you say that wasn't a fight then horry should not got suspend. So let me clear this up once and for all, tim and bruce step on the court but players step on the court all time during a game. It is during an altercation is when the rule applies. Now what is an altercation when the refree has to seprate two player either ending with player reciving flagrant or technical foul. If you want to judge intent watch amare pass by nash then being restrain by the assitant coaches. Now is it natural reation to help teammate yes but only if you on the court if not stay put much like the spurs did. Also nash flop when he didn't need to, horry push on moving pick because he couldn't foul him if didn't. This unbias did the suspension cost suns game 5 yes but one game doesn't make a series. No he does not love the spurs he just follows the rules, u cant just ignore the rule once, im sure you werent saying to change this rule the many other times it was enforced when players ran on the court without throwing a single punch. Amare and Diaw also looked to be going onto the court fight. To understand this ruling u would have to go way back and look at what happened to Rudy Tomjonavick, he left the bench during a fight to break it up and got his eye knocked out of the socket. The players on the court during a altercation don't know what someone is coming on the court for and that is why this is actualy a good rule no mater how many steps you take or your intention.
Who do you think will win the finals?
